Our room was large with a beautiful four poster bed, a separate sitting area and a balcony with lovely views of Aosta and the surrounding mountains. The breakfast selection was very large and included local cheeses and well as big selection of sweets. The hotel is set in a quiet area and we appreciate not staying in the more busy city centre.

Lovely hotel, great location for those able to walk a lot. Difficult for a family with children as there is no restaurant for the evening meals. Especially in winter this would be a problem. The restaurants in town would be too far to walk in snow and parking in town is not easy.

Very cosy old fashioned style hotel. We got bigger appartment than booked thanks to its availability, in the older building. All in wood, respecting historical features of the building. Cosy atmosphere, little garden behind the hotel to rest. Cute small wellness under the roof. Great service by the reception, very good breakfast and dinner with proffesional service at the restaurant of the partner hotel. We’ll be more than happy to come back one day.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and the room was big, clean, and comfortable. We absolutely loved the "all-you-can-eat buffet" at the bar if you ordered drinks. The dinner was simply amazing, too. The view of the valley and the hills was incredible and something we’ll never forget. If we’re ever nearby, we’ll definitely stop by!

Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.

A very lovely town that has amenities of a larger town while didn't lose the charm of a small town. It has lots of shops along the pedestrian streets with decent cafe and restaurants. Nice little village, far from the crowds in Courmajeur and other villages in Val Daosta. It has a groceries store, a bakery and some restaurants/cafe. Definitely less touristy and more authentic. Small, nice town with numerous restaurants. Several small markets, one big supermarket open 7 days a week (and not closing for lunch break). The town has an easy autostrada access and is close to Aosta, the largest city in the region. Overall, Saint Vincent gives “small town feel” with having all amenities easily accessible. Good starting point for a day or half day trips to Mont Blanc, Matterhorn (Cervino in Italian) and St. Bernard Pass.

Really liked the mountain area and towns around the Gran Paradiso park. Good base to visit the park, run over to the Hellbronner and Aguille du Midi lifts, visit Aosta. Could have easily spent a whole week in the area doing more hiking (the trail around Lillaz Falls was a great experience during our spring visit) and visiting the small towns in the area. We did see a chamois, but did not spot any ibex during our visit.

Picturesque alpine hamlet with plenty of trails into the mountains for all abilities. It is clearly popular with people walking the Via Francigena as well as bikers and drivers. It works as a longer stopover only if you are into walking and exploring the area. A day stopover was enough for us as it is only a small place, albeit, pretty.

Such a beautiful town! I felt like I had a much better spot than the other little towns nearby just because of the ease of access to the Matterhorn hiking area. I just walked out my door and it was right there, no driving necessary. Also, it was extremely convenient to come down off the mountain and just grab some dinner.

I liked the vibe of St Pierre. The small town had mostly older locals in houses that might have been here for centuries, but the surrounding hills had a lot of newer houses which I guess were for people who liked a bit more space and the amazing views. Some of the tallest peaks in Europe are on your doorstep and the area has some of the best Roman ruins in the world outside Rome.
