- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 206 reviewsIt is a beautiful hotel, we stayed at Augustus Lido, a house built by Agnelli, the father of Gianni Agnelli , it is a beautiful house with a big porch where breakfast and dinner are served overlooking a beautiful garden with super old trees. The staff is very attentive, special recognition to Edoardo (waiter), Simona and Letizia (front desk), Elena (waiter) and Stefano (best concierge ever). They treat you like family. Room was spacious and bed, pillows comfortable. The beach club is superb, elegant, discreet and secure. You can easily access the beach club through and under path built by Agnelli family so you don’t have to cross the street to access the beach.Guest review byMaríaUnited States

Turin is a city that has everything we need: history, food, tours, more polite people than other cities, very cheap prices, easy train, bus, this was the best place I stayed, I was in all of Italy, and the easiest to get around, without bureaucracy, and cheaper prices than others.Guest review byJairoUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great and interesting city.
Great and interesting city. Been there before, many years ago, and wanted to see it again. The piazza Il Campo is fantastic - the most odd and beautiful square in Italy and maybe in Europe. Go up to the top of the tower and see it from above, amazing! Just to bad that the horserace Il Palio was in July and August, that would have been a great experience.Guest review byTommySweden - 10.0

San Gimignano is a medieval town which is very popular with...
San Gimignano is a medieval town which is very popular with Italian tourists as well as other EU/US visitors. It's like stepping back in time as everywhere is so original and dripping with age. There are plenty of shops selling quality foods, ceramics, fabrics, art, bakeries and even a potter who will make a pot in front of your eyes - in fact everything you can think of! Plenty of nice restaurants from simple pizzerias to Michelin starred will cater for every taste and budget. There are a number of old towers you can climb which will give you a wonderful birds eye view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, but if you don't want to climb then a leisurely stroll around the ancient streets is a cultural treat.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Loved how interesting Aosta was - Roman Ruins and a lot of history plus great bar & restaurant choices & friendly locals. Very busy each evening when everyone takes an aperitivo & a stroll & easy to get to by coach from Turin. Easy access to other towns & ski resorts in the Aosta Valley too. Also very reasonably priced compared to England.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 10.0
