- From $53.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 658 reviewsconveniently located, walking distance to downtown area, many cafes, shops (Madaba mall is about a five minute walk) and St George’s (Church of the Map). Property well maintained, nice swimming pool, and restaurant offers a very reasonable evening dinner (our first night we had chicken tagine for 8.50jd, generous portions, they also serve beer and wine). Our room had a very comfortable bed and extra pillows, clean bathroom and a small balcony. Staff was very welcoming and helpful when we needed to get some laundry taken care of. A breakfast buffet, served at their rooftop terrace with wonderful views of the city, many options (eggs, sausage, beans, hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, several kinds of bread, jams, pancakes, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice - we stayed three days and we could always put together different dishes and not feel like we were eating the same thing) On our second day we enjoyed lunch at Ayola Cafe which had been recommended by another guest on a previous review on booking. It was a good hotel to be based out of to visit mount Nebo, Ma’in hot springs and other places around the areaGuest review byJocelynUnited States
- From $57.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 2,424 reviewsThe staff was very kind & accommodating. We had booked one large room for our family of five & as it was undergoing renovation, they gave us two rooms for the same price, one of them very large with four twin beds & the other with one large bed adjacent. They arranged our pickups from the border & to the airport (for extra of course) & packed us a small breakfast as we were leaving before breakfast was served. Thank you Safa & Rami for everything. Wish you all success & blessings.Guest review byLeilaPalestinian Territory
- From $126.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,123 reviewsAbsolutely the best place to take in the beauty of the Dead sea and Al mujib mountains, with a stunning sunset from your own terrace. Fantastic service- Asem and his staff made our stay wonderful. Rooms are neat and the beds are very comfortable. Great private beach just note that the access path has alot of stairs and is quite steep. Recommend asking specifically for a Seaview Chalet upon booking. Will definitely recommend this to anyone and planning on returning asap.Guest review byTariqJordan
- From $50.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 279 reviewsVisited from Texas. Must be something about the land being elevated, both physically and spiritually-- slept very well. Spacious room, affordable, in city center and a few minutes drive from Mount Nebo. Hotel staff were exceedingly friendly and ask for Towfeeq if you need a local driver and guide. He's a true son of the soil and I had a blast with him showing me all over the dead sea, Amman, and even a hot springs visited by locals and previously Herod the great.Guest review byAdanUnited States

Madaba is world famous for its ancient mosaics and its modern day mosaic school and workshops. If you want to see a mosaic, go to Madaba. Furthermore there are some very good and well priced restaurants.Guest review byTimothyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow.
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow. The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance. The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there? Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets. The site is so beautiful and the Dead Sea so weird that there is no place like it.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The tourist part with St John the Baptist church, visitor centre, museum and burnt palace etc is easy to explore and plenty of eateries too. Shop keepers are helpful and don't hassle you much. Easy to take a taxi to Mount Nebo, and I also enjoyed Bethany beyond the Jordan (where John the Baptist did his work), which takes a bit longer as you get bussed from the visitor reception to the river. It was amazing to look across the river to Israel where someone was being baptised. The Dead Sea and Hot Springs are also within reach, but not sure how it works with all the 4star hotels along the edge. Yellow taxis plentiful. If it's cold in Madaba (I was there in early March and they had a cold spell) the good news is its warm at the Dead Sea and the hot springs are wonderfully warm.Guest review byLesleyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We almost skipped Madaba as we wanted to spend more time in Petra and Wadi Rum but were so glad we went and could have spent more time. Besides the incredible mosaics, there are Roman ruins and underground spaces that were fun to explore plus this had some of the best shopping we saw and we regretted not having more time to browse. With its Byzantine history Madaba feels different than the other cities in Jordan and is well worth the visit.Guest review byAprilUnited States
