- From $151.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 322 reviewsThis property was an exceedingly lovely experience. The location was perfect in the little town and very walkable to shopping, bus transportation, restaurants, and other eateries. The location also was centrally located for all the attractions on Awaji Island and I highly recommend taking the SoMa bus if you don't have a car to all the botanical gardens and other attractions on the island. The traditional Onsen spas is a must to try! I have never had an spa this exceptional in anywhere I have traveled to and I highly recommend the spa services. There is an Ayurvedic treatment of warm oil dripping on your forehead as you receive a head massage. The food is par excellence, featuring local products that will not disappoint. Their dessert bar with hand-made ice creams and treats are a delight. The service was exceptional! We had an English speaking staff member, Sara, who made our trip incredibly comfortable. Sara is extremely knowledgeable and assisted us in transportation to our separate airports. I will be going back and brining my husband who needs to experience this sensational resort hotel.Guest review byManuelUnited States
- From $303.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 126 reviewsWe got a good deal while coming off season and wanted to experience an onsen resort while visiting Japan. The meals were very good traditional Japanese food. The onsens were very nice and not busy, and the rooms were traditional and spacious. The town this hotel is in doesn’t have a lot going on so expect to spend your time in the room/onsen. We did walk down the road to a shrine on the beach, then walked back to the hotel along the beach, hoping to catch the sunset. Unfortunately, it was a hazy day and we didn't get a great sunset, but it was a very nice walk back!Guest review byEliseUnited States

I visited the theme park Nijigen No Morii with Naruto and Dragonquest Island and both was amazing. Ill definitely come Back to the Park. It's a bit tricky to get around with the local (limited) buses as there run only about once every hour so a rental car ist the better option. From Iwaya Port theres a Shuttle bus to Nijigen No Morii and the hello Kitty sites, it's free and stops on a couple of sites along the route. The Shuttle operates from 10am to 9pm.Guest review byNicoleGermany - 4.0
It is sad to see dying city, even small one.
It is sad to see dying city, even small one. Nothing to do there, difficult to find a nice place to eat even food prices are high. Ohama beach is nice, however there are some creatures in the sea which sting you. Overrated place to visit.Guest review byIrinaJapan
