One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in Japan. The room is spacious, super clean and modern. Breakfast is excellent and has a wide range of Japanese and Western food. The hotel's location is very conveniently located. Shopping mall, convenience stores, restaurants, train station are all located within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel when we revisit Kanazawa in the future.

    Kanazawa is an easygoing, relaxed city where a lot of the attractions are easily walkable from one another, and lots of great places to eat as well. It's a welcome break from the rush and bustle of Tokyo, but still very cosmopolitan. Easy to see the historical areas by yourself or take tours for deeper information. We enjoyed the castle, Kenroku-en Gardens, the samurai district, all 3 geiko districts, Omicho Market, a day out to Shirakawa-go and also time in the 21st Century Art Museum. It's easy to get around on the local buses, and easy to get to and from by train. Great eateries for us included The Godburger, Izakaya Ken, Shirom Creperie.

    The onsen was totally Japanese in style and attention to detail, very relaxing and with a staff dedicated to providing the best service. They were attentive and helpful. The forest near the onsen was beautiful for hiking and contemplating nature. Loved it. I will definitely return and to the same onsen.

    The hotel was fantastic, evening and more than my team expected! We loved the traditional clothing and meals, especially dinner. The breakfast for most Americans is a little rough. The hot springs were EPIC and the swimming was just right. Thank you

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised.

    The seaside accomodation was just as advertised. The host was helpful and a delight. She made sure we had a lovely 2 nights there. Rooms were well presented and large with amenities that were first rate. The glass manufacture workshop and the glass museum were well woth the trip. The glass gallery is world class and the architecture special and suited to its location. The aquarium was disappointing. Show was good but the maintenance of the facility needs work.

    Kanazawa is a gem of a town.

    Kanazawa is a gem of a town. We really enjoyed the Samurai quarter, it's quaint and not over-populated. Kanazawa castle is fantastic, and so is Kenrokuen garden. The museum of modern art is also compact and quite good.

    Really liked downshifting from Tokyo and spending 2 nights in Kanazawa--a third might have even been right. The gardens, architecture, restaurants. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asked where to stop during a Japan vacation.
