Located very close to the train station, it was super convenient to access on foot, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The room was incredible, with a beautiful view overlooking the river—falling asleep to the sound of the water was so calming. We even saw fireflies while relaxing in our private hot tub, which made for such a romantic and unforgettable evening. The food was by far the best we had during our trip. Every dish came in a perfect flow, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that free drinks were included! The staff were also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and even catered to our request for one meal to be seafood-free without any issues. There’s also a lovely souvenir shop by reception with lots to choose from. Out of all the places I researched in Hakone, this one offered some of the best value for money. The quality of the experience far exceeded our expectations, and I’m so happy we chose to stay here. It's very good to visit for 3 days, as you will have time and opportunity to visit Fuji Five Lakes, Mount Fuji, and, if needed, easily travel to Osaka and Kyoto using the Shinkansen. The Ropeway, pirate ship, and Hakone shrine are among the best things to experience. We liked that the city was only a short train ride to many other cities like downtown Toyko and Yokohama. It might not be for everyone, have to take one stop to Ofuna to transfer to other JR lines but very convenient visiting Kamakura and Enoshima. Plenty of stores around Fujusawa station for shopping. If you hire a car & able to drive up into the mountains well worth it. Our stay was excellent for me, location is near to public transportation (train) good restaurants are walkable and convinient stores too. The entire hotel is clean and offers good, delicious breakfast. Room was clean. Comfort room is kinda small but clean. Everything is excellent for me except the bed and pillows are not so soft.. because I was expecting a very soft pillows and bed but aside from that I enjoyed staying there.
