The location is very convenient— just across the port. The amenities are great. The onsen is amazing. The staff are very nice and thoughtful. beautiful hotel, super close to the JR ferry for miyajima. the view was awesome and the staff really cute. recommended if you plan to stay just one night in miyajima since it’s literally across the station AND the ferry. definitely coming back here

This is a wonderful old-fashioned Japanese style hotel. There are barely any foreign tourists around, so if you are looking for an authentic local experience, this place is a must visit. The private onsens are amazing, but you need to reserve 2-3 weeks in advance.

Amazing experience in a traditional style with a modern comfort. The hotel is located in a quiet place ~20 mins walk from the ferry port. It may sound far but the hotel provides the shuttle bus as often as you need. We were prepared for the ryokan rules about the shoes, so it wasn’t a surprise for us. The traditional room is very beautiful, clean, looks better in real life than on the pictures. Nice view from the window, I even saw an eagle on the tree. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. Usually the staff set up the bed after the dinner but they set it up for me when I asked for a day nap. The dinner and breakfast servings is extraordinarily. Nice choice of exclusive souvenirs, especially loved the Momiji manju cookies, the ones from the hotel are MUCH better than the ones from the shopping street. In general, I highly recommend to stay here at least for 1-2 night for better exploration of Miyajima without rush.
