- From $104.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsWe had an AMAZING time at Soratobu Usagi! The location is awesome. We truly enjoyed the ski-in/ski-out location. We did a bit of research and were able to reach it by train and bus from Nozawa Onsen. The team made everything super easy for us from snowboard rentals to lift tickets. The onsen in the basement is so relaxing and a real highlight. Everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable and cozy. We speak zero Japanese but they were very willing to help us with everything. We ate most our meals there and everything was SO good! We hit some powder days which was a nice bonus as well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you to book it now!Guest review byKristiUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsThe lodge is in a forest at 1000m altitude. There is deep snow all around in Winter. Our room had a beautiful view over the forest. The lodge has its own small indoor and outdoor onsens. Full board is provided. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese style with good quality ingredients. They get a lot of snow, a storm cycle can easily bring 50cm of snow overnight so be prepared to dig your car out in the morning, although the access road is cleared daily.Guest review byMargueriteAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsIt is one of the best ski resorts for beginner. The slope is a good challenge for newbies and the lift ticket is cheap and not crowded at all. I can get to snowboarding right in the back of the hotel. I would recommend it for families with elderly and kids. The dinner is included and it is very good and delicious.Guest review byNATTAKARNThailand

Easy hotel shuttle ride to/from Myokokogen station. Lovely free drinks at happy hour(s) every afternoon. Wonderful indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. I painted outdoors when it was sunny, and indoors when cold, snowy/rainy. JonBradham.comGuest review byJonathanUnited States

Myoko is an incredible region of fun, the mountains offer heaps of ski resorts with fantastic runs, lessons, places to dine and sit with a hot beverage or refreshen beer or sake. Its wonderful for both families and those who are daring to hit the slopes for thrills. The hotel shuttles, local buses and taxis make travel from resort to various slopes, very easy. The locals are exceptionally helpful and friendly.Guest review byBec DoyleAustralia - 10.0
The snow in Myoko is otherworldly.
The snow in Myoko is otherworldly. The powder is unimaginably great and really loved visiting Seki Onsen Ski Area. It's a small, family-owned ski area run by the Inoue Family who are the kindest and most hospitable people you'll find anywhere in Japan. Family-owned and run ski areas are in decline with large corporations buying up ski areas across Japan, so it was a real treat to ski at an area where the snow was perfect and you're supporting a local business. 10 our 10 for Seki Onsen Ski Area!Guest review byAaronUnited States - 10.0
Ski areas vary considerably in the area.
Ski areas vary considerably in the area. Akakura Onsen has absolutely the worst lifts i have experienced in Japan. When they weren't broken down they were extremely slow. On the other hand Suginohara has a new gondola and modern 'high' speed lifts. This was the pick of the mountains to ski for me.Guest review byAnonymous
