We stayed in a family room which was very spacious - twin beds plus a tatami area with 2 futons. Room had a little kitchen (but no cooking or eating utensils), there is a communal microwave on level 1 and an ice machine on level 3. Bathroom was a little dated but we never used it anyway as the onsen is seriously amazing. Great rock pool with an outdoor garden feel, lots of showers. We often had the whole place to ourselves. Pools are also great. Outdoor pool is huge with a shallow kids pool as well. When a storm came in and they had to close the outdoor pool they opened the indoor pool for us (which was lovely and warm). Staff were all wonderfully polite, helpful and friendly. The pool attendants were hilarious and also really helpful. We stayed 4 nights and wished we had longer. Location was a great base for the middle of Okinawa island - ocean expo park (which had loads to do, even on rainy days), Nago and surrounds, Kouri, Yagaji and Sesoko island and the southern part of Yanbaru.Guest review byEmilyAustralia

Must provide pet vaccination records which is a good measure in protecting everyone. Amenities in the cabins were top-notch, zero mechanical issues, appliances and shower appear new (<2yrs old). The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself (thought the refrigerator/freezer is of small size: Cabin 5 has 2 double beds and 3 single loft beds plus a couch. We loved Onna!
We loved Onna! You’re right in the middle between Naha and the Aquarium. We used to go to a nearby beach called Kibougaoka Beach — mostly locals (but nver more than 10 people), and it was absolutely magical. So beautiful! YOU NEED TO RENT A CAR!Guest review byjulitilliArgentina - 10

I only stayed in my hotel because it was raining but i definitely wish I stayed longer (I was only there for one full day— the other two I travelled to and from my hotel) but I really wish I booked a longer stay. It’s not as busy as Naha or other popular areas so for me it was quiet and peaceful. I wish I could have visited some local attractions such as the pineapple park but unfortunately it rained on the day I wanted to go and I didn’t really feel like doing that in the rain. We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium which was really interesting and well worth the money. We spent time at Motobu Genki Village and Bise with the tropical dream center all located within Ocean Expo Park. There was a lot to do and see in Kin. The variety of restaurants was impressive and we wished we could stay longer just to check them out. There was a good mix of Western and Japanese restaurants, so plenty of food options for everyone. It was also really interesting to find a Buddhist temple that had a cave on the grounds! The beaches were also really nice. We loved Kin Sunrise Beach Seaside Park and everything it had to offer. The location we stayed was very close to the expressway and it was easy to get into and out of the Ginoza area. Our lodging was convenient and close to the venue that attracted us to Ginoza. There are several convenient stores and a market close by. There are a few restaurant choices, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. A gorgeous spot with plenty of local restaurants to enjoy. Beaches on your doorstop and other attractions such as pottery village only a short drive away. Nago has fantastic beaches. Most of them not advertised enough. However the restaurants are small (at least where we were...at Yugaf Inn) and they dont seem to bother serving forighners. Onna was disappointing.
Onna was disappointing. A long way from Naha airport although well serviced by airport limousine bus on our way in. There were no busses on the return to Naha from the resort for an early flight out, so needed to pay taxi which was expensive. Weather was a bit indifferent - had expected something more of a pacific island climate. Other than resort (Sheraton which was very limited in choice for meals), there were limited evening eating places. Those that were available were 30minute walk away from the resort, some reasonably ok, others not so.
