I was travelling and staying alone and the staff were extremely polite and accommodating. They could communicate in English which made it all the more easy to ask for any help if needed. There was a man working at the reception on my first night of stay who stood by my friend to help her find a cab. It was quite late at night and cold but the kind man stood by her till she safely got into a cab to head home. It was a small act of kindness that greatly impressed me. The hotel has a 7/11 store that is open 24/7 which is super useful if needed anything in the late hours of the night ( I get midnight munchies ) The room I got was sufficient for the price in my opinion. Kept extremely neat and tidy with house keeping coming every day to help clean up. My view wasn't great but I didn't mind because I bearly stayed in there since I was touring Seoul alot. The breakfast was exceptional, definitely one of the best hotel buffets I’ve ever had, rooms very spacious and comfortable. It’s airy and light, the windows are massive and views are good. There is a spa, outdoor and indoor pool, fitness, restaurant and direct entry into the Lotte shopping mall. The location in Seomyeon is also great. It’s a lively area with many restaurants, cafés, shops, clubs and bars. Even though the area is quite loud, it’s very calm and quiet in the hotel. Busan is the best part of Korea. Hikeable hills and mountains, ocean, beaches, and many different parts of town connected via transit. Also, cleaner air than the industrial west of Korea. The beaches were awesome and well maintained. Everything seemed slightly more dirty than Seoul but I think it's just fighting the environment of the ocean being right there. Lots of beach options, none of them were overcrowded when we went but we were there Tuesday-Thursday. They have the worlds largest mall, BIFF, and only 30ish minutes from Gamcheon, by taxi. It's over an hour by bus assuming you don't miss your stop or get on the wrong bus like we did lol. It's hotter and more humid than Seoul but something to expect going to beaches. Plenty to eat, more seafood based if that's your jam, lots of shopping and beautiful views. My daughter really wanted to see the Gwangalli Bridge show but it only happens on weekends. It does light up from about 8-12 nightly though. We opted for Taxi traveling after giving up on trying to figure out buses. They go fast and weave through traffic, its a crazy ride and much more crazy than Seoul taxi drivers so hold on tight!Guest review byBethanyUnited States
