We were always well looked after in terms of food and drink, you even have a tasty snack box for the safari drive! The game drive is professionally delivered by a great team who are knowledgeable and familiar with the park; with their experience and some luck of course, we saw leopards on both drives we were entitled to with our stay! The dining experience was top, with a great menu for both food and drinks. We even had a beach side evening meal that was spectacular. Tissamaharama is a fantastic base for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty and rich culture of southern Sri Lanka. It's perfectly located for Yala National Park safaris, offering easy access to incredible wildlife encounters. Beyond the safaris, the town itself has a calm, local vibe with beautiful lakes and ancient temples to discover. A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night.
