The best in town, We stayed here for 4 nights and We couldn't have asked for more. The location was perfect and quiet. The rooms and the property is well maintained & The view from the room is the best you can get in ella, Food is great and they also have a cafe in town called Chill cafe. The staffs were really helpful and friendly, Roshan and Nuwan are gems, Thank you for making our stay so memorable. I got so attached to the friendly neighborhood dog Sisi, She made our stay even more memorable. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.

This property has a very unique location in the mountains, away from the turysty crowds with amazing views surrounding you. The place is extremely clean and well equipped with a desk, open shelving, kettle, tea, coffee, etc. The breakfast was delicious, served on time with a smile and a lot of attention. The property is away from town but provides complementary tuk tuk service to town which we found extremely helpful.

This hotel was a great surprise. We couldn’t fault it in any respect. The room was well appointed in very comfortable staff were outstanding. The restaurant and meal selection was excellent and it was very good value for money. Simply couldn’t fault it.

I need more stars! 5 is not enough in any of these categories! Seriously, this is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It's not just a room, this is an experience and worth every penny and more. First of all, this room is way up on the mountain with the front balcony overlooking the 9 arch bridge. You can watch the trains come and go right there in your own space! There is a footpath that goes down to the bridge and takes you all around it so you can see it from every angle and it's extremely beautiful! The bed is VERY comfortable with actual bedding unlike much of Sri Lanka where you get what feels like a tablecloth to cover yourself. I slept very well. Every detail is covered: cards and books, umbrellas, kettle. Mini fridge, every type of drinkware, sugar, coffees/teas, hairdryer, washclothes and even the adapter for plugs. There are tons of outlets to plug into, one on each side of the bed as well as reading lamps. Huge windows to let tons of light flanked by curtains to darken the room as well. The neighbor property is Upali's brother's property which now also houses a bar/restaurant overlooking the tracks! Delicious breakfast is served on the front patio and is more than I eat in a day! Fresh fruits, little rolled pancakes with coconut and sugar, hoppers, hoppers with eggs, yogurt and coffee. The best part of the stay? Upali. He is an incredible host. Need a ride back down the hill? He's there. Need a ride back? Ok! Want to go climb Little Adam's Peak? Let's go! Anything you need he is ready and willing to help! I've never experienced anything like it. He even checked the oil, lights, brakes and everything in my tuk tuk and gave it a little wash. Made sure I was safe traveling alone as a woman. Just so amazing! Anyway, I urge you to book now, don't hesitate because it will be gone if you wait! Wish I could have stayed forever! Thank you Upali for a wonderful stay! I can't wait to return!

A truly magical place, we had the most amazing stay. A unique small boutique hotel up in the mountains with stunning views, wonderful staff and delicious food. The manager, Eranda is so sincere and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna. He took us on a walk to the waterfall in the grounds and we had a very informative talk about nature. Such a lovely man. I can't recommend Capoe House enough, it's the nicest place we have ever stayed.

Great hotel with beautiful views over the tea plantations. The rooms are spacious and clean, the area is quiet and the food is really good. It was great to come back from Lipton Seat and enjoy the sunset over the tea plantations from our balcony. Really great value for the money. Gamini was really nice and helpful!

    This was a real treat. There were only 4 people in the entire resort at the time, since we came at the end of Easter vacation and the begining of the wet and shoulder season. The grounds are gorgeous, the garden, wonderful, the staff was very helpful and nice, and we had an upgrade that was not short of royal: I truly thought that we entered a several-room bungalow whereas it was our room! A room with a patio and a front and a side terrasses. Monkeys playing in the trees in the morning. The nature is very present and lush and beautiful. We went on a hike which we couldn't finish, since we've discovered a new species we had never met before: leeches. My daughter freaked! But it was an experience. She very much enjoyed the pool, overlooking the valley, and I booked an ayurvedic massage, which was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The man had very skilled hands. It is a place to get lost into, it feels last the days of yore, an estate to spend peaceful days. Unfortunately it wasn't our case, since we booked only a night, thereby shortening a safari that would have been (accurately so!) too long had we stayed an extra night. So it was an stop-by in between locations, booked a bit last-minute. Our next destination was Amba Estate, one of the few existing estates rolling tea by hand, with a social purpose since it has very good labor conditions and employs the villagers, thereby creating a strong community. I would recommend as well, it's not that far, on the other side of the mountain, hence "on the way" toward Ella, where we jumped on a train to our next adventures. Thank you again for having us and allowing such a beautiful stay. I also had the best cocktail and we both enjoyed our meals!

    I had a great experience at The Pinnacle Ella. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, one of the highlights of my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also had lunch at the hotel, and really enjoyed the food. I had read some reviews mentioning issues with the Wi-Fi, but during my stay, it worked perfectly fine. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ella.

    I love the staff at Ella Flower Garden. Everyone is kind and willing to help. We were able to meet the owner whose love of plants are gardening is so palpable and creates such a beautiful atmosphere to stay in. This place is perfectly located for a morning hike to little Adam's Peak, and all the rooms have breathtaking views. Loved our stay.

    Nestled in the mountains- 98 acres is the perfect getaway to detach from the business of everyday life. The staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms spacious and clean. The spa is an absolute must. There are tours provided by the hotel and they organised an early morning sunrise hike to Adam’s peak ( full view from the room)

    Almost everything.

    Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

    People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

    Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

    Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

    It is very safe and tourist-friendly, nice climate. not hot, not tool, cold. Nice view of the mountains. Lot of foreigners. Food and services are mostly for foreigners which is not too hot, a good mix of local and international food, but very reasonably priced.

    Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
