Brand new rooms above a small restaurant. Welcoming and kind host family. Strong AC and beautiful view from the balcony. Be aware there is no hot water, but as we learned, this is fairly common in Sri Lanka. It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

Best value in Wilpattu, guide and owner is very attentative and organized. He is an avid photographer and leopard seeker. We did a full day and half day safari. This was the highlight of the trip and ended up seeing 3 leopards and a sloth bear thanks to their patience and skills. Not to mention candle lit dinners every night.

We loved everything! Lovely warm hospitality, the family running this newly built resort could not do enough for us. The bed was comfortable, the room curtains were dark to keep any light out. Ceiling fan, AC, electric kettle, good size room and separate shower ( not a wet bath) Food was delicious-ask for Black pork for dinner and pancakes for breakfast! Then, a nice new pool to cool off after a day of safari! The location is just a couple minutes to the main entrance to Wilpattu National Park. The absolute sweetest owners, Nadeema and Ajith, thank you.

Amazing service and great attention to details. The local food options are very good, international food is ok and can be improved. Strongly recommended if you want a safari in Wilpattu.

Wow. What a find & an absolute marvel of an eco friendly complex carefully crafted to blend with the jungle it sits. Fabulous meals & virtual four star comforts in an adventurous location. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Amazing retreat tucked away in the rain forest, with monkeys and loris all over the property! The staff was incredible, and the cottages are amazing. We felt like royalty the whole time we were there.
