The staff was nice, the room (we got an upgrade) was spacious and comfortable and we really enjoyed breakfast with plenty of options, we didn't expect such a nice choice of food during the week in off-season. The bathroom had floor heating, so it was always pleasantly warm there. Parking during our stay was free, probably because of low season. One of the things we loved most about this hotel, however, is its location. Right next to one of the entrances to the park, a very short walk to the sea, and a pleasant 15 min walk to the pier. There are many nice nature and culture places to visit in Palanga, however they are often overcrowded during high season, and the resort is severely overpriced during summer season comparing to similar resorts in Latvia or Poland. Dunes, sandy beaches, aromatic pine tree forests, unique Curonian Spit nature, and bespoke old wooden houses in the small fishermen villages, amber, local fish food .. Certainly worth to visit this special place and to have peaceful, calm holidays at least for a week or two, visiting Nida and smaller villages like Preila, Juodkrante. For a longer stay, when it is around 25C in summer, it would be useful to change towels and bed linen in the middle of the stay. Our holidays 10. The drain of the water from the shower is slightly blocked. No balcony dryer. Armchairs not for summer. Every sweaty tourist in front of us leaned his back and there is the effect. Rusnė is a very beautiful old fishing village where you can still buy and taste fresh smoked fish. You can also rent a boat and sail to Mingė, Venta, Nida, and see the Uostadvaris lighthouse. I really enjoyed the unique architecture in Neringa, especially the traditional fishermen’s houses – they’re full of charm and character. The area was very green with lots of flower beds, which made it even more beautiful. It`s a clean, nice, relaxing green place. There is such a well-groomed city! A lot of places to go for a walking outdoor as the Birute park, seaside, main street etc. Visit the Amber Museum, Concer hall and whatever you want. Try Lithuanian cuisine specialities as ceppelines, cold beetroot soup, potato pancakes with meat filling, different kinds of local fish, berries, cabbage rolls with chopped meat.
