Incredibly clean and well laid out. The trams are free to use. The city is very vibrant with lots of good restaurants and bars. It felt safe to walk around day and night. I wasnt there long, an overnight stop with a morning walk into the town. The petrol prices were pretty reasonable and there was a decent supermaket and mini mall at the bottom of the town. If staying for a short break I would probably get a hotel in Luxembourg City, as although all transport in the country is free its stops at 2300. The castle was interesting and there is commentary if you want to listen about the history . There is a lift for disabled access. The river is very scenic to walk along and sit by it and lots of history commentary along here too . Interesting with the fish sculptures along it. It's a high standard city where old meets new architecture. It offers free public transport. The city center has many panoramic points from where you can see the old neighborhood Grund. Luxembourg has so much to offer.
Luxembourg has so much to offer. Take advantage of the free transportation. You may have to rent a car to get to more remote locations; like Vianden Castle or Mullerthal. The history of the country is amazing and the shopping and food are great. We spent a week and barely touched the surface.Guest review byeuUnited States
