We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning riad. The welcome was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our room was simply beautiful — tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest detail! We had the chance to enjoy a hammam and massage experience — a truly relaxing and fantastic moment. We also had dinner at the riad and chose the set menu… what a surprise! The portions were very generous, and every dish was absolutely delicious. From start to finish: a refined starter, a flavorful tagine, a delightful dessert, and to top it all off, traditional Moroccan pastries with mint tea… it was perfect! The riad is also ideally located — easily accessible by car with nearby parking. It’s the perfect base to explore the Medina, everything is within easy reach. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. We absolutely loved our stay

Staying at Riad Jnane Fes Medina & Luxury Palace was one of the highlights of my trip to fez. The riad itself is stunning , a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern comfort. But what made the stay truly special was the staff. Kenza welcomed us with the warmest smile and made me feel at home immediatly. Mostapha was equally wonderful --always attentive , and ready to help with anything i needed ,from directions to recommandations. Thanks to them, my time in fez felt effortless and memorable. Highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting the city.

The riad is absolutely beautiful and full of charm, in a fantastic location on a very safe street, and the locals are incredibly friendly. The terrace offers breathtaking views, accompanied by the cheerful, twinkling songs of birds. The hosts, Adil and Roberta, along with the ladies of the staff, are all wonderfully kind, helpful, and welcoming, making every moment of my stay feel truly special.

From start to finish everything was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed, from the receptionists like Youssef to the women that cleaned our room, we also had the pleasure to meet the owner of the hotel who was extremely kind and took care of every request we had. We were in our honey-moon and they made it amazing with all their services. The Hotel is truly amazing, the rooms are sound proof and big and have a balcony, the bathroom was perfect they give you plenty of towels and honestly the courtesy set smelled soooo good. The jacuzzi and the pool inside the hotel were amazing, also if you wear a hijab it's perfect cause it's really private and I could swim with my husband without anyone around, since it's really quite. This should be a 5 star hotel honestly cause they have everything you may need and the position is perfect, I will 100% come back and make it my home in Fes.

A magnificent palace of utmost beauty and elegance, located in the most beautiful district of the old city, with car access right up to its door. With its stunning aesthetics and the precision of its Andalusian-Arabic details, it honors the city of Fez and elevates it to new heights. Wishing you continued brilliance so that your palace remains a rare gem among historical palaces.

Absolutely beautiful riad with a gorgeous pool to cool off in and stunning rooftop with great views and sounds of the medina. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We were in the non-touristy part of the medina which we liked as it was great to see every day medina life of the locals, felt very safe. But was just a short walk to the touristy parts. Beautiful breakfast included.

Fez is a fascinating city, full of life, commerce, and talented artisans. To appreciate Fez, come with an open-mind, ready to explore a world that in many ways hasn't changed in hundreds of years. A good guide can help you appreciate the history and beauty of some of the historic buildings (the medrasa, the tanneries, the oldest university), the quality of the handicrafts and the way of life of the people who make the medina their home. Visiting the Fez medina is an intense and rewarding experience.

Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake) - far too hot to be enjoyable. Getting around in the Medina was very difficult and sometimes frustrating. There one can easily fall into the trap of being accosted by self-styled guides who will take you to various shops and ask you for money at the end. Perhaps for an older traveller it would have been better to lodge outside the Medina and visit it from there with an official tour. On the positive side, some of the sites were very beautiful and the people mostly very friendly and helpful.

The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage.

The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage. Too bad the only thing you can see, apart from some (mostly closed) gates, is old narrow streets and shops. Locals prey on tourists in order to squeeze them dry :) In Rabat or Salé you can get a more authentic sense of a medina without the commercial pressure.
