- From US$157.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 2,128 reviewsPalais Medina and Spa is a top-notch hotel that is perfect for those who want to experience the beautiful city of Fez. The highlight of the hotel is the amazing terrace overlooking the beautiful medina of Fez, which is a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. The room is modern and clean with all the necessary amenities, including a bathtub in the toilet, which is a great touch. It is evident that the hotel management takes cleanliness seriously, and the rooms are immaculately cleaned every day. Another notable feature of the hotel is its proximity to a large shopping mall and McDonald's, which is perfect for those who want to explore the modern side of Fez. It is also convenient for those who want to grab a quick meal or do some shopping. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and they assisted us with arranging a taxi service to the CTM bus station of Fez, which saved us a lot of trouble. The staff was always available to answer our questions and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. In conclusion, Palais Medina and Spa is recommended for travellers looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Fez. The beautiful terrace, modern rooms, proximity to shopping malls and great service from the staff make it a great choice for anyone visiting Fez.Guest review bycfoodielifeHong Kong
- From US$58.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 547 reviewsThis is no doubt the best riad we have ever been to. Since the moment we walked in, we were mesmerized. This riad is absolutely beautiful. We parked our car nearby and walked about 5 minutes to the Riad's street. It can be a little hard to find, given the fact that it is kind of hidden. We were welcomed by Yassine, the most amazing host. He made us feel completely comfortable and was always ready to help us out. The bedroom was really pretty, spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had airconditioner in case we needed it. There is also a pool on the inside, the ceiling isn't open so even if it's raining it's possible to go swimming. We also talked with the manager Mohamed, a very kind person and very helpfull and we were so glad to have met all of them, it really is an incredible staff. No wonder this place has such good reviews.Guest review byJoãoPortugal

With its stunning aesthetics and the precision of its Andalusian-Arabic details, it honors the city of Fez and elevates it to new heights. Wishing you continued brilliance so that your palace remains a rare gem among historical palaces.Guest review byzahraeUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 286 reviewsWe had a great time at Riad Fes. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was great and the decor was beautiful. We dined at the restaurant which was also a lovely experience with great food, drinks and live music. It was raining non stop so we didn’t get to see the rooftop but had a great time regardless. We would definitely go back.Guest review byconstanceMorocco
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 39 reviewsLocation was at the center of the city. A few restaurants about and generally a safe area. Parking is a street parking, but there are places allocated to the hotel guests, and there is a guard available all the time.Guest review byTariqOman

Fez is a fascinating city, full of life, commerce, and talented artisans. To appreciate Fez, come with an open-mind, ready to explore a world that in many ways hasn't changed in hundreds of years. A good guide can help you appreciate the history and beauty of some of the historic buildings (the medrasa, the tanneries, the oldest university), the quality of the handicrafts and the way of life of the people who make the medina their home. Visiting the Fez medina is an intense and rewarding experience.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0

Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake) - far too hot to be enjoyable. Getting around in the Medina was very difficult and sometimes frustrating. There one can easily fall into the trap of being accosted by self-styled guides who will take you to various shops and ask you for money at the end. Perhaps for an older traveller it would have been better to lodge outside the Medina and visit it from there with an official tour. On the positive side, some of the sites were very beautiful and the people mostly very friendly and helpful.Guest review byMacFinland - 6.0
The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage.
The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage. Too bad the only thing you can see, apart from some (mostly closed) gates, is old narrow streets and shops. Locals prey on tourists in order to squeeze them dry :) In Rabat or Salé you can get a more authentic sense of a medina without the commercial pressure.Guest review byPeterItaly
