Everything about Desert Berber fire camp was amazing. We came very early in Merzouga, at 6.10am, and Mohamed was so polite and pick us up at the bus station. We came to Riad to rest for fiew hours. Later we did a trip with Omar to the black desert, the gnawa music , the mines and Nomad family . When we came back, around 4pm, we started the camel ride to Desert Berber fire camp in the desert. The accommodation was basic but not bad for one night .We had time to walk around dunes, take pictures and play sand boarding on the dunes. When the night fell we had dinner and after dinner they lighted a fire and played music. In the morning we woke up to see the sunrise. This was a wonderful experience, Mohamed and all the others were really friendly and nice, we definitely recommend.

Amazing night in the desert; the setting is undoubtedly fantastic—it is in the middle of the Sahara. Both the bathroom and the tent were very roomy. The campfire was really pleasant and provided good entertainment. There are other additional activities that are well worth the cost, including free sandboarding in the dunes. The meal was freshly made and the dinner was excellent. Bottled water was also provided. Very tasty breakfast with lots of fresh options as well. The personnel was courteous and the experience was positive. 100 percent, I would return

Everything. The camp is beautiful. The tent/rooms are very nice and roomy, with water, shower, and electricity. They serve breakfast and dinner which was delicious, and they play music for entertainment around the fire. Mohamed and hassan were wonderful--so pleasant, fun, and went out of their way to fulfill all our requests. Definitely recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!  · . Everything was good.

The place is amazing. Very nice and friendly staff, authentic atmosphere, very hot water in the shower. The breakfast and the dinner were great with traditional food. We highly recommendSahara Desert Luxury Camp. We think it’s a best choice if you want to stay in Sahara Desert. It is a wonderful place and we were happy to stay for two nights. The room is comfortable, the food is delicious and the view is beautiful. In the dinner of the second night, the one of our dish was noodles, which surprised us, because I wanted to eat noodles very much, the noodles with the sauce was really delicious, very similar to Chinese noodles. Also, there is a viewing position near the camp, you can sit in a chair to watch the stars, sunrise and sunset, the staff was very patient to tell us the sunrise time and the best viewing position, thank you. We also tried driving an ATV activity on the desert, a particularly interesting and fun activity. The staff was kind to take photos and videos of us, and always cared if we were in good states while driving the ATV. And on the last night, when we were wondering about the rest of our stay in Morocco, the staff were very helpful. It was a wonderful and kind place. There are many beautiful moments here that cannot be fully expressed in words. When we come to Sahara Desert next time, we will definitely come back to Sahara Desert Luxury Camp and look forward to seeing each other again. Thanks.

Sim this up. You walk out of Road, cross the road and 5 minute walk you’re in the dunes walking the Sahara - knowing your room in just across the r road!!! The staff were great. Hassan looked after me and the chef dude, Efan (sorry, I know I have your name wrong, my bad) was really great. Sorted anything we needed and was lovely to talk to. And the main dude Aussou was lovely to have a deeper conversation with. We were spoiled with the facilities - we had a kitchen and washing machine in our very large apartment. It was the most luxurious we’ve had on our journey across Morocco. So hot though, wish ac could go cooler. Pool was great. To be honest, we loved our stay here cause it was so easy and chilled. Lads will sort whatever you need or send you in right direction and ain’t looking for something in return. Got great STV quad bikes from dude next door a little down the road. Was a really amazing stay. Thank you MERZOUGA!!!!!

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gate

Peculiar European style roof houses for sliding the melted ice, calm, quiet and very comfortable hotels available, especially I highly recommend MICHLIFEN RESORT. Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

Not much happening in this town.

Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.

had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful mountain hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the sight of mist rolling over the peaks was like a dream. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful tips for exploring the area. My room was cozy, spotless, and perfectly blended modern comfort with rustic charm. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, especially after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a touch of luxury. Can’t wait to come back!

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse. We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.
