When we entered the gates of Domaine Villate Limoune we felt like we were in a different world! It was like coming across an unexpected oasis - it was beautiful. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to the Royal suite which was a wonderful surprise, but this wasn't just a suite. It was a completely separate area from the rest of the hotel. The suite had a bedroom, a dining area and a huge sitting area for at least 20 people. Outside, there was a private pool, outdoor seating, a separate building with a pool table, grand piano, bar, music system and many more facilities. This was an excellent area for a variety of functions - I wish we had all our family with us! The hotel and restaurant area were very elegant and decorated to a very high standard. There were 3 more pools, a spa, a mini zoo, quad biking and horse riding. We were only there for 2 days and I am sure there were other activities and facilities we hadn't discovered. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place. Overall, this hotel was totally unexpected, beautiful, unique, a very high standard with efficient and friendly staff. I love the breakfast spread and the bonus is that all the servers and chefs are so cheerful when prepping the food and offering the options to you. All the staff were super helpful and very accommodating even for last minute requests. For me, I had pre-informed the hotel of my partner's birthday and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make it extra special. They prepared snacks on the house on day 1 for us. On his actual birthday, they decorated the room nicely, and even gave us a very nice looking and tasty cake with everyone saying happy birthday to the birthday boy! it was such a fantastic surprise even to me! I truly appreciate how caring they were and most of which was by their own discretion which relieved me from a lot of pressure and stress. Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate.They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. The pace here is beautifully slow — sunrise surf sessions, fresh fish straight from the harbor, golden hour strolls along the cliffs, and starry skies at night. It’s not a party town; it’s a place to exhale. Locals are kind and welcoming, the surf community is humble and open, and everything you need is within a short walk: cafés, beach shacks, viewpoints, and nature. There's an authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. After visiting many many countries, I can honestly say Imsouane is one of those few places I carry in my heart long after leaving. Interesting town with souks and a historical setting where Ali Baba the original film was shot . A local man attached himself to us and ended up giving an informal guided tour. The restaurant we had a lunch was tasty and not expensive. There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. Great little town where you can stock up on food, souvenirs and get petrol. Locals are super friendly and laid back and things that we bought at the market were definitely cheaper than we found in Taroudant. Hiking must be awesome but we didn't have enough time. We had an all-inclusive hotel, therefore we didn't go out to eat or drink. Activities we did: -Jet skis- we didn't pre-book. Just rock up to the beach and barter! We got a great deal for 2 pax 15 min €50 (on their price list it was €50 for 1 pax 20min). -Quad bike tour in the Sahara- this we booked online on the day. Because it was last minute we got a half price discount for €19pp. This included; hotel pickup/drop off, 3 hour quad bike tour, sand surfing and tea break at the beach. Amazing experience. -Souk el Had- biggest market in Africa- a must! Go in prepared and don't get scammed like we did 5 min in. Barter. Barter. BARTER. Check online on TikTok for price comparisons on how much things should be. But amazing experience and very clean compared to other markets I had been to.
