Loved the location across from very a nice shopping mall and restaurants. During our stay, we were so appreciative of the great customer service from Sharmila, the manager. We did not actually have the breakfast or dinner buffets but they did look excellent. If we were staying longer we would have tried them out.

    Very peaceful, quiet and cozy. Joubarbe is by the hill side & that makes the weather there just amazing. It was so cool & windy, totally loved it! Felt comfortable and @home. Rooms are as good as hotel rooms with a cute sit- out area. I particularly liked the shower area which is designed at a lower level with no spilling out and leakage of water into the other part of the bathroom. This is very convenient especially if you are somebody who doesn't like mess around in the bathroom. Often, even premium hotels &resorts fail to take care of such small but valuable details. 🚿 Also, this place is reasonably priced according to me & Nicole (the land lady) helped me with cab bookings at very reasonable pricing so I didn't have to worry about being swindled by taxi drivers. She also guided me for cruise and other bookings, it was really helpful as I was travelling solo & completely on my own. She was gracious enough to keep a check on me every evening. I thank her from my heart ❤️ Food was great too, just like home. Never forget to pay visits to the beautiful ducks just by the side of the fence🦆. Them & their quacking will fill your heart with warmth!

    google maps showed the location is under 1.4km from Trianon convention centre where the venue took place.. we kept taking a taxi... its quit a distance. I loved the taxi organized by the hotel manager. Although pricey they were to the second on time. The hotel cook. very good. hotel comfort. very good. convenient to a number of nearby locations like bars, supermarkets, ATM, light train, buses. I dont remember asking for a quiet room. The place is humbly quiet. I am a NY city guy.. so a bit of noise is good. I had a group with me.. so okay.. I also liked the lift... good for pwds

    We had such a pleasant stay at Villa Alizée. The property is beautifully set up and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and served in the coziest spot. More than anything, Jean Marc and his family were very welcoming, kind and helpful hosts. We felt really peaceful staying here. Would highly recommend this lovely place.

    It took my two days to explore Port Louis.

    It took my two days to explore Port Louis. I enjoyed very much the look from the top of the mountain in Port Louis and the waterfront even though the prices at the waterfront are high. We spend 9 days in Mauritius and enjoyed our day trips to different parts of the country.

    Staff are very kind and helpful. Hotel not linked to online taxi service . I paid for the taxi through Hotel Booking .com and did not get service neither di they give back refund . The book taxi website is not helpful when it comes to accessing the taxi service

    We hired a taxi to take us up to the Citadel and around the city. It has some interesting colonial buildings. We arrived at Port Louis at the end of our cruise - the apartment was not far from the port. We used the same taxi driver to take us up the Northern Beaches (well worth visiting) and he also drove us to the airport for our flight to Dubai.

    I had the pleasure of staying at the Champs De Mars Apartment during my recent short visit to Mauritius, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming and cozy atmosphere that this apartment offers. First and foremost, the location is fantastic. Situated right next to the iconic Champs De Mars Racecourse, the apartment offers stunning views and a unique atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's also conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore all that Mauritius has to offer. Moreover, the apartment's security was excellent. The apartment itself is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is tasteful and modern, providing a welcoming and homely ambiance. The spacious living area is perfect for relaxation and entertaining, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals if you wish. One of the highlights of the Champs De Mars Apartment is the balcony, which overlooks the racecourse. The breathtaking views of the races and the lush greenery are truly a unique experience that adds a special touch to your stay. The host, Adam is incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests you may have. Their warm welcome and local insights enhanced my stay in Port Louis , making it even more memorable.
