- From US$1,768 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 507 reviewsMy recent stay at Adaaran Prestige Resort was nothing short of a paradisiacal experience. From the moment I stepped onto the pristine grounds of this luxurious haven, I knew I was in for a treat. The resort's impeccable service, diverse culinary offerings, and engaging activities left an indelible mark on my memory. First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to Manu, a standout member of the resort's staff. Manu's dedication to ensuring guests' satisfaction went above and beyond expectations. His warm and attentive demeanor made me feel truly valued as a guest. He was always ready to assist with a genuine smile, enhancing the overall hospitality of the resort. The culinary journey at Adaaran Prestige Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. The food options were diverse, catering to a wide range of palates. The Japanese restaurant, in particular, stood out as a culinary gem. The masterfully crafted dishes showcased the artistry of the chefs, delivering an authentic and delightful experience. The blend of flavors, textures, and presentation made each meal a memorable event. One of the highlights of my stay was the resort's extensive array of activities. Whether you're a water sports enthusiast, a fitness buff, or someone seeking relaxation, Adaaran Prestige has something for everyone. From snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters to yoga sessions at sunrise, the activities were well-curated and added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort, from the elegantly designed accommodations to the lush landscaping, contributed to an atmosphere of pure serenity. Adaaran Prestige Resort is a true testament to luxury and excellence. In conclusion, my time at Adaaran Prestige Resort was an enchanting escape that exceeded my expectations.Guest review byAliKuwait
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 806 reviewsACCOMODATION Stayed in water suites: big, clean, very comfortable with tea-coffe facilities, mini-bar (water, beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee included into AI plan plus some extra items like chips and alcoholic drinks for additional charge) Two times per day room cleaning and refilling the mini-bar. Very good service. FOOD The resort has several types of accomodations and three different restaurants + bars assigned to them. Ours was Rehendhi and it was really a very good buffet with lots of delicious options from European, Asian (mostly Indian and Maldivian) and Middle Eastern cuisines. Five nights stay and every day there was something new from burritos to kebabs, from roasted turkey to wellington beef, from seafood wok to different types of curry. DRINKS Beer, white and red wine and strong spirits of "non-luxury" brands (and respective cocktails) are included into All Inclusive meal plan (as well as sparkling wine for breakfast in Rehendhi restaurant 🙂) Well-known alcohol brands (Glenfiddich, Grey Goose etc) are at extra charge or Ultra AI package. BEACH Water suites are not very suitable for swimming as there is a strong water current and the water is quite shallow (especially during low tide) while the sea bottom is covered with corals (water shoes and swim fins are very useful) Hotel's beach is very nice with white sand and comfortable access. Lots of different types of fish, including small reef sharks - we were snorkeling every day without going for any special tour. STAFF Very nice and hard-working peopleGuest review byVIKTARPortugal
- From US$182.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,594 reviewsOur stay at Arena Beach Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. They were always attentive, friendly, and willing to assist with anything we needed, whether it was arranging excursions or offering local recommendations. The location of the hotel is unbeatable – right on the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the best spots on the island. The rooftop pool and sun deck were perfect for relaxing, and the hotel’s private beach area was pristine and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The restaurant offered a great variety of delicious dishes, and the daily breakfast buffet was a highlight of our mornings. We genuinely believe Arena Beach Hotel is the best hotel on Maafushi, not just for its prime location but for the warmth and professionalism of the staff. We can’t thank them enough for making our stay so memorable. Without a doubt, we’ll be back again – this hotel feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Maldives!Guest review byJanCzech Republic
- From US$758.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 73 reviewsWe had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.Guest review byAlfredMalta
- From US$360.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,388 reviewsMy heart stays at this paradise island and I'm strongly surprised with the negative comments written here. This hotel deserves 5 stars based on modern facilities, extremely cleanliness, spacious and elegant rooms, perfect bathroom and delicious food with good variety. The island comprises only the hotel complex having restaurants, bars and SPA center. The beach is more than perfect with white sand, crystal water as well as beautiful reef. The hotel staff is nice and helpful - especially Arrush and person from Maaga restaurant preparing grill and omelets. I was suprised with a special present and atmosphere for my birthday celebration at Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort and we definitely come back in the near future!Guest review byTina GrozevaBulgaria
- From US$1,041.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 627 reviewsWe had an amazing time at Velassaru! The hotel is absolutely beautiful — everything from the beaches to the landscape is perfectly maintained. What really stood out to us was the staff: everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our bungalow was incredible, we stayed in an overwater bungalow with a private pool, and it was just perfect. The view was amazing, especially at sunset, and we loved being able to jump straight into the sea or relax in the pool in total privacy. The coral reef just in front was a great spot for snorkeling! The food was great, and we especially loved the fact that they serve cava at breakfast — such a nice touch!Guest review byFilipaPortugal

I have been to several One & Only resorts and can honestly say that the Reethi Rah is by far the best of them , every aspect of the property was superb. I would like to thank our “butler” Soukaina for her excellent personal service. In fact all the staff deserve recognition for their work, they were so helpful and friendly.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 2.0

We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.Guest review byanitaGermany - 6.0
