- From US$583.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 396 reviews1. Location. It is natural island with lush greenery and a home reef with all the Indian Ocean inhabitants in place. The beautiful beach is just steps from the door of your room. Short trip from the airport by boat. 2. The management performs a good job there, everything is well maintained and well organized, the staff knows what to do and does their work in right manner. E.g. after the wind or rain it was a lot of leaves and other parts of vegetation on the ground. And every time it was cleared in very effective manner all over the island. 3. Special thanks to our waiter Raju, who was very clever and attentive in his service. Also the cleaner, Ali was making our room impeccably clean every morning despite all the sand brought in during the previous day. 4. We have two birthday celebrations during our week there and we ordered a dinner on the beach for each of them. Again, everything was perfect and we enjoyed every moment there.Guest review byIgorBelarus
- From US$500.27 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,251 reviewsI would give the property a 5+. Everything was exceptional. My wife was pregnant, and I would like to thank the food manager, Mr. Husham, the front desk staff, especially Ms. Anna and all the staff who provided baggies at request, the Photo session, the boat ride, the snorkeling classes, and the wonderful shopping experience. I love food, and my wife and I always looked forward to meeting your kind chefs during the breakfast and dinner periods and trying out all your Michelin-starred buffet-style dishes. We love MALDIVES and thank the people of Maldives for the kindness from the Airport staff to the hospitality and openness of the people to share in the culture and beauty of the country. Long live the Maldives!!!! We cannot wait to be back with our baby!!!!!Guest review byBODINGAUkraine
- From US$641.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 236 reviewsStayed in the water bungalow and it was great experience. The glass in the floor to see the fish especially at night time was amazing. You can snorkel in the reef just outside the island. The snorkeling gear was free if you stayed more than one night. The snorkeling was fantastic- so many fish including several smaller sharks that passed by the reef. Great food and lots of choices. The staff was very helpful to accommodate food allergies (nuts and peanuts) Everyone was very friendly and making your stay special.Guest review byIngerDenmark
- From US$182.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,594 reviewsStayed here the first week of February. Beautiful weather, resort, rooms, bikini beach just outside, breakfast ok with egg station. Adriano, Mr Bucket-Hat-Man. is the best. Arranging what ever you need, private boats, excursions and answering general question you may have. Bob at the reception is outmost helpful and smiling all the time. The staff is all very helpsome and attentive. Arena Bech Hotel is the place to be when you visit K.Maafushi. Highly recommended 10/10Guest review byErikNorway

Note that 1.its really close to the main airport so after long flight its great to be transferred fast&smooth 2.its connected with 2 other resorts with non stop available and free speedboats. Its important to have option for those who are after maldives can be boring. We can not thank enough Joker, a man who personally made sure our vacation goes perfectly!Guest review byMilicaSerbia
- From US$630.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,285 reviewsIf the Maldives itself was not enough, the hotel exceeds all expectations. The rooms are large, clean with a very comfortable bed. Twice a day they clean the room and change towels, both for the beach and for the shower. The island is surrounded by a coral reef, so you can see a lot of brightly colored fish. The resort has many bars, fitness, tennis, diving, etc., so you can laze in the shade under a palm tree or have a very active vacation.Guest review byIvicaSlovenia
- From US$642.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,372 reviewsWe loved our stay, our host Cynthia was just amazing! Very helpful and responsive. We stayed a few days at the water villa and several days at the beach pool villa, both were amazing, but the interior and amenities at the beach villa were newer and we liked that a bit more. Water villa experience was fantastic though. Lost of things to do on the island - bicycles, sports games, snorkeling. Massage at the spa was great too.Guest review byAsiaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 128 reviewsThis resorts mantra is ‘no news no shoes’ and exemplifies a get away from it destination unlike any other Maldives island. Stunning setting and authenticity, with a team lead by Matthew and our Mr Friday (Alif) who went out of their way to make it an unforgettable experience. The entire team from restaurants, spa to water sports where all remarkable.Guest review byPaulUnited Arab Emirates

I have been to several One & Only resorts and can honestly say that the Reethi Rah is by far the best of them , every aspect of the property was superb. I would like to thank our “butler” Soukaina for her excellent personal service. In fact all the staff deserve recognition for their work, they were so helpful and friendly.Guest review byGrahamUnited Kingdom

The superior rooms are very spacious and REALLY have ocean view (they are all located on the sunset side which I really appreciated). The food is excellent. Close to Male airport but far enough to not hear the many planes departing/landing there. Would recommend this resort 100% - great value for money.Guest review byLisLuxembourg

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0

It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 2.0

We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.Guest review byanitaGermany - 6.0
