JapanI stayed here for 9 nights in total in Feb/March 2025. I loved my stay a lot! It was very comfortable and clean. There is a small kitchen that you can make coffee or tea and cut fruits. Very close to the bikini beach as well. The receptionist, Hari was the best host and he could help me anything I needed and he’s a super friendly guy so I also enjoyed talking with him.

ItalyFantastic stay. The property is brand new , all the staff is really nice and cooperative. Rooms are very nice, new with minimal furniture, big and very clean. The sea view is stunning. It is a peaceful place, the only one with its quiet private beach where you can enjoy sunset , baby sharks and rays. You can enjoy dinner right on the beach and the atmosphere is speechless.The food is really nice and the service is very quick comparing to all the other restaurants in the island .They provide you beach towels and there is a common fridge where you can store your staff. Wifi works very well. Wonderful sea, a lot of beautiful beaches nearby (10 min walking to walk throughout the whole island) and many restaurants.

During my stay, I had to balance work, and Sanjay ensured I had access to the fastest internet available. The overall experience was delightful, with all amenities seamlessly functional, and the proximity of the bikini beach area right in front of the hotel added to the convenience. The restaurant offers nice food for lunch or dinner. I recommend this place for everyone who wants to have relax in a bohemian atmosphere.

We had an amazing time at Meeru! Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular.
The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself!
The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical.
We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink.
All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives with my family and had an unforgettable vacation! The most impressive part of our stay was the incredibly friendly staff, everyone was exceptionally hospitable and attentive, always ready to make our experience even better. I would especially like to mention Rajja, who was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout our stay.
The atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic, striking the perfect balance between luxury and relaxation. The facilities are outstanding, from the pool and restaurants to various activities for both kids and adults. Our beachfront villa was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and had a stunning view of the ocean.
This is definitely a place we would love to return to! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for perfect vacation in the Maldives.

Everything was perfect - accommodations, food, wonderful staff, sea life and the green paradise island. We had a tranquil and most memorable holiday! Special thanks to the front desk staff, who were most welcoming and helpful, Seabreeze dining team, diving center and boat trip crew, and Guru who whips out great cocktails! The food was diverse with the Maldivian dished among the best regional food we’ve had. UmiYaki dinner was a flaming highlight, delicious and fun! Plenty of nice and easy to reach snorkeling places with rich sea life, beaches feel very private, and are very well maintained. Beachfront room was great and we were glad we opted for full board. Two thumbs up, a holiday to remember and a place to come back to!

Excellent and spacious overwater villa, stuffed with everything imaginable for comfort, fresh fruits every day, snacks. Very private. Every staff member is extremely courteous, friendly and professional. We aways felt welcome and cared for.
Our host Samih was always responsive and proactive, he even called me when there was enough wind to do kitesurfing as I'm into it.
I loved the gym and SPA facilities. We ate the most delicious food served in the restaurants. One & Only brand will be associated with high class and luxury for us from now on.

Everything was just perfect, right from the beginning until the last second. The team made our honeymoon an unforgettable one, starting from our Mrs. Friday (Jaisha) to Hafeez, Ahmet and everyone who supported us. The facility was unreal, everything was customized for us (even the food menu had our names on it).
Food was spot on, every night had a different theme and I honestly cant describe how good it was.
We had the best time so far and honestly Gili raised the bar way too high, we will definitely be celebrating one anniversary there.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

There are a number of Hotels with restaurants with menu options slightly different from Ayala ... all within walking distance. The beach (Bikini beach) is beautiful, ALWAYS clean and even when the wind is blowing strongly from the Western side there is hardly any wind on the beach

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
