United KingdomI had an exceptional stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every detail, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time.
The hotel’s facilities were impressive as well. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach but tucked away enough to provide a peaceful retreat. I also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which was provided when I left the hotel.
Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfort, and amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

RussiaThe property is nested in pristine jungle a bit further away from the busy streets and closer to the beach area. There’s a bit of construction happening outside, which does not interfere with you having a great time. The hotel is being run by a highly friendly hospitable family with all the members taking part in looking after you - they are cooking, cleaning, showing you round the island, arranging tours for you, speed boats if you want to explore other places, everyone speaks perfect English. The rooms are clean, spacious and well decorated. There is a no plastic policy in the hotel, which also makes it environmentally friendly. Tea, coffee and breakfast are available in a comfortable lobby area. You can also rent bikes (including bikes with child seats). The staff are very friendly with the kids as well, i could even sometimes leave my son with them while working, which was extremely convenient. The wifi connection allowed me to hold multiple zoom sessions. All in all, i highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to explore this beautiful welcoming island!

The food is very delicious!
Breakfast is at 7-8am for $10
Lunch is at 12pm-1pm for $12
Dinner is at 6pm-7pm for $15
You have to pre-order if you want to avail because they will only prepare a set of menu. The only downside is that whatever they prepare, you have no other option. But we liked everything they cooked! It comes with a side dish, dessert, main dish, juice, and snack.
At first, we were looking for other cheaper options outside, but Sunset Villa is the best option. With other restaurants, you'll have to buy everything, even water. In Sunset Villa, it's already a set meal. Other tourists who booked hotel with others even order meals from Sunset Villa.
The housekeeper cleans and replenishes the toiletries without even requesting. They do it when you go out for activities. No need to worry about your valuables because they have vault.
Most importantly, ALL the staff are very accommodating. Always wearing a smile. They are quiet and very friendly.
P.s. You can make unlimited coffee 😉

PortugalWe will try to put in words our indescribable experience at this ecologic boutique hotel located in Thinadhoo, Vaavu Atoll. If you are planning on going to Ecoboo, the pack experience is 300% worth it! With this pack we were allowed to take part in all the activities without limitations. Apart from the 3 daily included meals (amazing and super delicious cuisine) and the two-way included shuttle, this pack offers you daily activities that are amazing and super well organized. The latter would not be possible without the amazing guidance of Shabeen and Inkey. They taught us how to snorkel, fish the maldivian style and dive with all the safety there is. Apart from this, they are super super careful about the ocean, the reefs and all the amazing animals that inhabit these dreamy blue and transparent waters - it is hard to find people like them nowadays, people that care about "their home".
Thinadhoo is a local island and Ecoboo offers you an amazing beach with transparent waters and a very rich house reef full of fishes and new corals. They provide snorkelling material free of charge with the pack, so don't worry!
Another very positive aspect is the staff! Without exception they are amazing, very friendly and helpful.
Overall, the hotel is cozy and comfortable with all the things you need in this all piece of paradise.
Definitely the best holidays we had so far and for sure we will be coming back as soon as possible!
Last, but not least a big thank you to Hugo, Serena, Fernando. From the welcome reception, to the organization, and for helping us whenever we needed.
All together, this makes Ecoboo a MUST GO, if you plan on going to the Maldives!

The service was always impeccable with regards to our necessities: getting organized a microwave to heat up our child's food, getting food to our room, cleaning up the room, getting some dessert to our room. Our Butler Zak was available 24/7 and very helpful for everything we needed. We even received an upgrade for our stay with a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. When asking why, they said: "Because we love you!" Food quality and variety was good as well as the SPA massage we received. The offering of sport variety was amazing from football to volleyball to tennis and kayak. We especially enjoyed our daily bike tours on the island and the infinite swimming pool with beach view at Zero Degree. The island and its nature had a lot to offer: wonderfull beach, crystal water, baby sharks, crabs, bats. I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.Guest review byJamesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0

The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. I absolutely would return!
I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot.
