- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 192 reviewsSuch an architecturally unique and artistic resort! For (very rural) Mexico, a higher-quality resort.. the casita rooms were eclectic, artistic, adorable, clean and comfortable… I told my husband the details felt a little like Gaudi in Spain. Mosaic tile details, cobblestone paths, colorful accents and details, lovely landscaping..unique Mexican artwork throughout the resort . Great common areas . Staff was wonderful! Nellie went out of her way to assist us! She was the best! We had such a lovely experience there.Guest review byLynneUnited States

Each room has what you need. Also the restaurant on site is top rate. And if you see a burro make sure you give him a carrot or apple and wish him safe travels.Guest review byJohnUnited States

Hear it’s great for kite-surfing, kite-foiling etc. also maybe scuba. We did none of that because we were looking for more oceanfront property to buy. None of that was worthy either because of no flights to La Paz, period!!! No access!!!!Guest review byDennis - 10.0

The town consists of about 150 residents who joined together to preserve the marine life and make wise environment choices. They don’t allow big hotels or businesses to take over and that makes this place an authentic gem. The town runs on solar energy and everyone is mindful of the resources. I fell in love with Cabo Pulmo, its people, and their philosophy.Guest review byMendez - 10.0

Great location and very nice pool.
Great location and very nice pool. The trip was ruined because the owner did not pay the electricity bill. Our third night without electricity it was very miserable in our room trying to sleep without AC and with a heat index of over 100 degrees.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A really nice stay for a family or couple who wants a couple days of quiet or to get off the beaten path. Excellent views, shells on the beach, areas to swim/snorkel, and very good food for dinner and breakfast. I plan to return.Guest review byEricUnited States - 10.0

It is a magical place for kitesurfing and what makes a day special- best yoga I have ever experienced to start the day every day, very tasty cappuccino from the coffee bar with amazing and international barristers who also run the store, beach is right there and fabulous as well as the cocktails were impressive.Guest review byNadjaCanada - 2.0

Three cats who slept on our lawn furniture all day. I am allergic to cats. Also begged for food if we tried to eat at table. Complained to host - she said sorry the cats did not belong to them. In other words too bad.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

very small town, excellent for fishermen/ladies, but boat rental is 400.00 us for the day with a guide. snorkeling is good close by, rent an atv and go exploring. shopping and food slightly on expensive side for mexico but the people were very nice. restaurants will cook the food/fish you catch for a reasonable price.Guest review bydianeUnited States - 6.0

La Ribera is mostly residential, so mostly a point where you can travel to other places like Cabo Pulmo and Santiago. Cabo Pulmo itself is really tiny & touristy, so we preferred La Ribera to have a few more food options. And as we only wanted one day in Cabo Pulmo anyway (it is only a 30 minute-ish drive on a dirt road). La Ribera is also not far from Santiago (also a tiny town), but has lovely activities like Canyon de la Zorro (waterfall hike) and Santa Rita hot springs (the latter we've heard great things about but we unfortunately planned it for a Wednesday & they are closed that day). I think two nights in La Ribera is plenty. There is not a lot going on in La Ribera itself except the local food is good--we recommend Tacos y Mariscos Vianey!Guest review byRyanUnited States
