Staff was very friendly and the owner was very hospitable. My kids were using the pool in the evening, the owner came out to light mosquito incense for us as we waited by the poolside. Beds were comfy. There is a common area where you can dine and relax. Also some games to entertain kids.

A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

    Everything in this hotel was very good. Starting from many facilities they have such as the big pool. I like that the pool is big enough and has different deeps starting from 0.8 m to 2.3 m. Also, there is a Jacuzzi to relax after a long trip day. Furthermore, the beach of the hotel was extremely nice with white and deep sands and crystal water. Also, the garden of the hotel is quite big where you can take a walk there or relax. Now, lets go to the room. The room was very clean and comfort. The bathroom is also big enough with all facilities needed inside. Moreover, I like the size of the room as it fits all of my family members and the fact that there is Balcony with sea view in it. Finally, the breakfast was good as there was good verities of food to select. I really like their croissants as it was very crispy. To sum up, I highly recommend to stay in this hotel if you are visiting Langkawi and would like to stay next to the beach.

    Our Stay at La Villa is made wonderful with the whole Team taking really good care of us. We were welcome by the Team at the entrance including Mr Dave the Hotel consultant. We felt pampered. Azzat the housekeeper, took great care of every little things we needed during our stay. We were really grateful to have him. Shairi made our breakfast experience at La Yang wonderful by sharing his stories with us and introducing La Villa to us. This hotel is perfect for our family of 5. We love the facilities in the house especially the pool. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is really good! Highly recommended for your next family vacation!!

    It's a quiet resort within 30 minutes by car from the airport. Our room and the bed was comfortable and cleanly. There was a balcony on the courtyard side and the beach side, so We was able to relax in the balcony while watching the view and birds coming at the table. We were going to a pool and borrowed a towel and relaxed while watching the beach. The courtyard and private beach were very beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly.

    Pantai Cenang is a really happening place with lots of things to see and buy and lovely eating places as well. Just be prepared during the rainy season as the rain can come suddenly but it doesn't stay long so just find shelter somewhere and you'll be fine.

    Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

    The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

    Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.

There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

    Malaysia itself is built on tourism use, I didnt like the fact that you have to pay to use bathrooms specially in touristic areas where you will spend already inside as there is food, shops and activities, and also you have to pay for a bathroom and extra for tissue. which made it a struggle if you walk with no money. most of the adventures are not priced you are given a different price and every tourist is given a different price, and the staff claim they dont know if you ask any question that would make them not profit. overall its a very beautiful city, but it is not a place I would go to again.

    Its a sleepy place, not a party zone like pantai cenang. Its a place to connect with nature and rest, just afew food places nearby, all of which are good, lovely spot for sunset watching. Perfect stay at eagle eye, romantic stay with my boyfriend. Very nice place to relax and spend time in nature.
