The island just screams calm and positive vibes. One of the best place, I’ve ever been. This was my first time visiting Pulau Perhentian however the resort staff contacted and guided me from the very beginning to have hassle free journey. Once we arrived to the resort, we were welcomed by the crew and Johan made sure our stay at the resort were comfortable and safe. One the best person, we’ve get to know. The staff at the resort are super friendly and very nice people. Ahmad who is pic to pool, accompanied me to the beach where it was surrounded by trees which made me feel a little bit anxious however he offered to come along to make sure I feel safe even though the walk was 5-10 minutes. We were treated like vvip and truly made us speechless to express our gratitude to them. Planning to go to the resort again next year during peak season to have more island views and activities.

- Good staff I extended one more night at midnight due to trip plan adjustment. The staffs were very helpful and responded rapidly to complete the processing. In addition, when I tried to call a car to airport via Grap App in the early morning, there was no car accepting the request for quite a while. When the staff knew about this, he used another App to book the car for me, which worked eventually. Really appreciate this. - Clean and comfortable - New and modern

My partner and I only stayed one night, but it felt like a refreshing escape. The standard room was spotless, with thoughtful amenities like bottled water, kettle, and toiletries. The pool and garden surroundings gave us a peaceful, romantic vibe, while the waterpark added a fun touch. Staff were warm and accommodating, and check-in was easy. A hidden gem in Kertih we’d happily come back to!

    a reasonably affluent city on the east coast, boasting a modern drawbridge copied from London Bridge in the UK. There is a lot of building and development going on, and clearly this place has ambitions. There are two massive shopping malls close to the drawbridgewith a great range of shops inside, and the whole city had a very pleasant vibe.

    i went as a solo female backpacker, i love a good party, i love the beach and i love good food! and i had all!! its actually just paradise on earth. theres only 2 bars so youll meet everyone, there is also a little walk you can do to get to the otherside to have dinner and watch the sunset which is really fun. the restraunts have really yummy and reasonably priced food. I reccomend getting cash out before you go and stocking up on sunscreen, cigarettes, aloe vera and water before you go because the little shops there are expensive due to the importation efforts. you absolutely MUST do day tours as well, the sights are unmatched and super cheap, there is tour vendors all over the beach you wont have a hard time organsiing anything. also youll most likely find the love of your life there but dont hold me to that. if you want to go diving or get your diving license this is also the place as packages are super cheap and often include accomodation and food.

    I only passed by the town during my short trip to tanjong jara. But there’s everything u needed. Drugstore chains, clinics, banks and loads of restaurants with local delicacies. Oh and a visit to Rumah Kraf Batik at Jalan Nibong stesen is a must - a local artisan batik specialist. You can find high quality caftans from various materials; cotton / silk, shirts, baju kurung, parios and scarves.

    We liked the bed, it's firm and good for the back. Host (Nurul) was friendly and helpful. Her local food recommendations were spot-on for us. We had nasi dagang, ikan bakar and satay. The price of accommodation is most affordable. I will return when in town. Overall great stay

    Lot of Stall and restaurant selling a Malay cuisine such as Satar, Fried seafood (Sotong Celup, Fish, Prawn etc), Keropek Lekor. Beach also had a good vibe especially in the evening. You can rent ATV as extreme activities and Firefly watching nearby Cukai at night

    Marang is a small town that connects you to Kapas island. This island is a perfect gateway for families as it is not too far from the mainland and is quiet as compared to other holiday islands in the East Coast. If you have small kids particularly or nature lover ones, then visit Marang and Kapas Island.

    The hotel is spacious and provided with quite complete facilities e.g. big swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym. A good place for short vacation. It's located next to Kijal beach which is clean and my kids likes it alot. However, the hotel may need upgrading as it's amenities are quite aged.

    The scenario is superb.

    The scenario is superb. Enjoy the opportunity to view the sun rise. A very beautiful beach with moderately strong waves but still suitable for bathing activities. You can decide either to cook or having local food which is estimate around 5-6 km from the homestay.

    I cannot say much as my stay in Kuala Terengganu was short, only for three days, and the main purpose of my visit to KT was to visit my relatives. Didn’t do much sightseeing. However, it is a good thing that there is a large modern shopping mall within walking distance from the hotel that I was able to visit and spent time shopping and enjoying lunches and dinners in the restaurants. Also had a taste of durians in Kuala Terengganu which I didn’t have the opportunity to in Kuala Lumpur. Overall, it was a pleasant trip.

    Some great beaches with crystal clear waters. . i would recommend staying at long beach or coral beach on the smaller island. Rather than the fisherman's village. Boat trip to Redang - all day but worth the 150 MYR
