KUVIRA RIVER CAMP is an excellent location, a memorable experience of nature. Right by the riverbanks of the Okavango River, you can watch the sunsets. I enjoyed it .the rooms were big and clean . The home cooked supper was delicious. The breakfast was awesome, I finished all the food 😀. The service was just perfect. Veronica knows how to host you!

What an amazing little lodge this is. The tents are super comfortable with bathrooms attached and a view through the reeds to the small river. the grounds are beautifully cared for but the best thing about this lodge is the food! Oh my god best food not just in Africa but in many places outside of Africa too! The German (?) gorgeous lady who either owns the lodge it runs it is so beautiful! she assured us it would be the best bread in a Africa and she was right! But the bread was just the start the pumpkin papaya soup was creamy, silky smooth and just delicious. this was followed by a kudu roulade (like venison) which was accompanied by the most yummy jus and mashed potato and well as small hollowed squash stuffed with some sort of cheesy, pumpkin concoction! seriously this food was so so good! This is as followed by a fluffy chocolate mousse with candied walnuts and a shortbread crumb. you would think you were in a city restaurant not in the middle of a game park with nothing around you! We slept like babies in our warm and cosy 4 post tented bedroom and awoke to the birds before yet more delicious food before we waved goodbye! I would tell anyone to make sure to stay here between Chobe and Divundu to enjoy the Mudumu Game Park and the wonderful hospitality of Camp Kwando!

Our stay at Divava Lodge on the Kavango River for New Year's Eve was absolutely unforgettable! The stunning fireworks display over the river was a spectacular way to ring in the new year. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options to start the day. We liked everything - didn't know we were in a tent!! Very rustic, with wood burning hot water system - had a great shower. Location on the banks of the Kwando River was fabulous, with Lechwe on the banks. We had a wonderful river cruise with Kennedy, who was very knowledgeable: birds, hippo, baby crocodiles and a large obstinacy of buffaloes. We also spent some time in the nearby Mudumu National Park, which was a wonderful experience. Annette and Hennie were very welcoming and gracious hosts who went out of their way to assist two older women with some disabilities. Huge thanks to them both! Thanks, too, to Shiloh. Thanks also for the great breakfasts and dinners.

Great welcome. Absolutely fantastic for birds and wildlife. Could easily spend hours enjoying the stunning view from the room and grounds. Everyone friendly and helpful, the manageress was lovely, coming to speak with us at meals. Sundowner Boat trip fabulous, great guide. To have the amazing Mahangu Core Reserve only 15 minutes away was excellent, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and so much more. The food was delicious, catering for our vegetarian diet. For birders the views of Rock Pratincoles just incredible, I saw over 150 species of bird in a day in this area. Would love to return again.
