SpainEverything. It is just fantastic. If you are thinking about staying inside Etosha or out, just stay here. You may think it is more expensive but at the end of the day it is not. It is very close to the door, food is amazing and rooms and very clean, which you won’t find inside Etosha resorts. And I can tell you for sure after many hours driving around the park, you will seriously appreciate staying in this hotel.

GermanyWe even extended our stay twice because we loved it so much. Amazing, lovely and helpful staff, perfect amenities, we really enjoyed the pool and the bar with the waterhole. The location is perfect as it is right outside the gates of etosha, you can go in as early as the gates open and have no disadvantages to not staying inside the park. We will definitely come back!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Emanya. The lodge is beautifully designed blending modern and traditional architecture to create a relaxed and inviting environment.
The staff are simply amazing managing to balance the attention to detail in a friendly and professional manor. In particular Max, Reno, Elise and Joel were exceptional, we didn’t get the chance to speak with all of the staff but all were very good.
The rooms are large, elegant, and very comfortable, the turn down service every night with lit candles made it feel even more special.
Food was exquisite and a good variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As for Etosha park we went spent 2 days exploring ourselves managing to see Giraffes, Elephants, and Zebras however we couldn’t find the big cats. When we arrived at Emanya we met Joel who manages their game drives. Right from the start we knew Joel could help us find some cats and we weren’t disappointed seeing both Cheetahs and a Leopard up close, along with a White Rhino, Giraffes and Elephants. Joel is simply a brilliant guide, very friendly, hugely knowledgeable and adept at understanding the needs of the groups to ensure a great experience is had by all. We highly recommend taking a game drive whilst staying at Emanya and we hope to return to this beautiful oasis one day soon.

Lovely place, amazing food (we had game meat every night - Eland, Oryx, Springbok -), amazing breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows, natural insect repellent in the rooms with lemongrass, natural views from the room - nice sunset -, very friendly staff.
We arrived with Namibia2GO, till the other Gondwana hotel, and we were transferred for free to the hotel (6 kms away), also for free when leaving.
We booked the full day safari with them (about 80 EUR per person) during 3 days and the service was very good, a lot of food for lunch included, and we saw a lot of animals.
Very close to one of the Etosha gates, just 10 min drive.
We would come back, for sure!!!!

We traveled as a family with our 2 year old son and really enjoyed our stay. The Architecture of the Lodge is beautiful, built within the natural surroundings. The Bungalows are wildly spaced maximizing privacy & the overall impression of the team was brilliant. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always smiling. Spending New Years Eve there also meant having an open bar from 23:45 until 00:15 o’clock which we thought was really generous. We definitely recommend.

I like Eldorado Lodge because first of all it is a family run business and they welcomed me and made me feel like a part of the family. It's as if I was at home with my Mom - it felt so comforting and relaxing when they come and check up on you how come you haven't turned up for breakfast or for dinner. The place is so clean and a very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is visiting Etosha National Park.

Close to von Lindequist gate to Etosha, so peaceful and quiet, staff are all friendly and helpful, lovely swimming pool, the tents are large and comfortable with full mosquito nets over the beds. Good breakfast and dinner. All good 😊

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to...
We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). Fuel is CRITICAL for planning in rural Namibia!

It has been our 7th time in Namibia and our 5th in the Namutoni area. As always it is amazing! Wildlife is stunning and this year the scenario with the pan filled by rainfalls was absolutely one of the best scenario you can imagine. This year we missed elephants (just a few) which usually crowded Klein Namutoni, but area around Namutoni was plenty of wildlife such as hundreds of giraffes, impalas, gnus, zebras, springboks. We have seen also cheetah (quite frequent in this area of the park), black rhino and, for the first time in Etosha, leopard with cub. Great place!

If you're planning on going to Etosha, Omuthiya is a great...
If you're planning on going to Etosha, Omuthiya is a great spot to base yourself out of. It's about an hour from the northern most section of the park, which we found to be the best spot from which to see predators in particular. The town isn't particularly well lit or well represented on Google Maps, though, so I would advise getting there well before sunset to make sure that you find your accommodation. Residents are incredibly helpful and will assist with directions is needed.

We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. No good for self drive!

As expected, the variety of predators was not observable but...
As expected, the variety of predators was not observable but we saw many herds of antelopes, wildebest and zebras. A single giraffe standing in an area near Halila was beautiful. Watering holes were well marked and lovely settings to spend time viewing though some roads were deeply rutted. Sorry to have detour cut off several watering holes near Anderson Gate but understand its necessary for park maintenance.
