- From US$131.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 6,848 reviewsInitially I booked an internal room, but found out later that these don't have a window, since the hotel wasn't full I got a good deal on upgrading to a city view room luckily, I was very happy with that, since I had to do some remote working from my hotel room. The city room view felt very luxurious and the view was great. The location was perfect as well, in the city center around a lot of good food places.Guest review byRobinNetherlands

what happened to lower hutt - i grew up there that town was a buzzing hive of activity when i left 20 years ago i come back and the town looks dirty, old and empty. there is no life there! The mall was a joke, what has happened i use to love lower hutt, the shops are all closed. it is the saddest thing i have ever seen.Guest review byRichards - 10.0

It's the ideal getaway for a short vacation. There are numerous short walks and dining options. Henley Lake and the Millennium Reserve are particular favourites and for a longer trip Castlepoint is hard to beat.Guest review byAndyNew Zealand - 8.0

I loved the friendly, relaxed vibe and the great places to eat and drink. The scenery is wonderful and the place is easy to walk, cycle or drive around. Ialso enjoyed the boutique type shops and places where you could buy something just a little bit different.Guest review byMaryNew Zealand - 6.0
Everything within walking distance.
Everything within walking distance. However there's NO pedestrian crossings from the motel side of the road! I'm a bit slow with bad hips and I was taking my life into my hands to get across to the mall lol. Great little cafe called "Local Authority" under the council building next to the gym! Fantastic coffee and lovely staff!Guest review byChrisNew Zealand - 6.0

Upper Hutt was a bit lack lustre, in terms of dining out, shopping and must do attractions. There needs a big push to promote activities from the locals to encourage out of towners to want to visit Upper Hutt.Guest review byLindaNew Zealand - 10.0

We went to visit family and enjoy the local amenities. There are a couple of good cafe/restaurants, although they were very busy and hard to get bookings at. Lots of great walks to be had around the area.Guest review byAnneNew Zealand - 6.0

There is no Uber, only their local Taxi, which makes getting around without a car quite difficult They do have a lot of Beaches and Reserves close by, and when I stayed at the White House up the hill, I had an epic view with the best Sunset.Guest review byClliffdog01New Zealand
