- From $208.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 266 reviewsPerfect desert camping with magnificent giant sand dune as back drop, inspiring sunrises and sunsets, star-filled sky, absolute silence, and random camels wandering around. We spent 2 nights here so we could experience the desert through the 24-hour cycle. The sleeps were warm and comfy, the meals tasty, and service impeccable from Assad, Joel and Joce. The owner Hamid, is a hardworking 15-year desert tourism veteran, and had lots of tales. Campfire and meal times make for great conversations with other guests. We paid OMR25 for the 25-min return 4x4 transfer from Bidiyah, and OMR10 per person for camel rides and dune bashing, both loads of fun. This is a licensed camp, which uses largely solar power and pumps up water from a 150-metre well.Guest review bySumitMalaysia
- From $252.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,297 reviewspropert has 3 different room types, tent, chalet( brick small detached room) and bigger room ( sultan tent). we stayed in chalet .. service and the level of amenities are good considering desert conditions. it is really clean and free from dust and sand. there is sand dune nearly be recommend to climb and watch sunrise. breakfast and dinner open buffet simple but delicious. the day we arrived was stormy and heavy rainy ( they say this happens last 25 yrs ago!). our experience of the camp was limited thus service was good.Guest review byOnurTurkey
- From $104.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 598 reviewsIts confortable its clean the breakfast is very nice me and my family like all the activities .The campfire stories are interesting,we can see the sunrise and the sunset in the desert but for sunrise need to come at 6:00am.Their collations (coffee, tea) are nice. The quad(need to pay for quad) is good too,we can feed the baby’s goats, take milk, feed the camels and touch them. The staff is very friendly, that s a good experience in Oman.I think thats better than hotel in desert camping is better.Guest review byOusmanFrance

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The desert is very beautiful here.
The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 6.0

The resort is nice, I think there is a huge investment in the resort , although I think it will be better to train the staff to be more professional to deal with guests and certainly the restaurant is not up to the expectations especially regarding the menu and the the food served maybe the investment should include a new restaurant much better than the current one.Guest review bySaleh AL KamliOman - 10.0
We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.Guest review byAnonymous
