- From US$121 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 529 reviewsWe stayed at Eclypse de Mar in one of their hotel rooms for five nights, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The setting is breathtaking—nestled in nature, surrounded by clear waters and lush greenery. The overwater bungalows and the eco-friendly design make the property truly unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed us to completely disconnect and relax. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It felt cozy and in harmony with the natural environment around us. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, whether you’re into snorkeling, hiking, or just soaking in the beauty of Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend Eclypse de Mar to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway. We would definitely stay here again!Guest review byBrian EicherSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 162 reviewsBreakfast on the dock was magical. We woke to fresh coffee waiting for us and then we were served an amazing breakfast which included fresh local fruit, homemade breads, yummy pancakes and eggs and a plate of cheeses, meats and avocado. There was no way we could eat all we were served, but we tried lol. We also shared one of her wonderful dinners in served in her dining area. Again the food was delicious and included fresh fish caught by Marcel amongst other incredible side dishes. So yummy that I asked for a few of her secret recipes.Guest review byBrianCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 29 reviewsWe had an amazing stay at Al Natural Resort! The open-air houses with sea views are unique and unforgettable. We saw wildlife right outside (sloth, rays, sharks, birds) and even bioluminescence at night. The staff are super friendly, Michel is a great host, and the food from Vincent’s team was excellent—even for picky eaters. Truly a paradise, we’d love to return!Guest review byKai SiersSwitzerland

I truly loved the Island of Bastimentos of which I stayed.
I truly loved the Island of Bastimentos of which I stayed. I did long walks along the island and I also hiked right through the middle of the island to get to Wizard beach. It's a gem that's unspoiled and untouched by droves of tourist. I hope it stays that way. However, I have one big issue with this Island called Bastimentos that was heart breaking for me. There was entirely too much garbage strewn along the edges circulating the island. They need a major litter clean up campaign by this community. It was a turn off for such a beautiful Island with beautiful people. Entirely to much garbage like plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles, old cloths, bags, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. I don't know if it's washed up by the sea from neighboring islands or thrown there by the community. It's highly visible and can ruin visitors coming here if they don't clean it up. I can only hope this matter of pollution is addressed. All the best Bastimentos.Guest review byEarlUnited States
