Located between Padasi to Playa Venao in Punta Mala you would find this beautiful hotel on a cliff viewing the Pacific Ocean. Beautifully built in Spanish style, like a small resort with 2 outdoor swimming pools and a pool bar, privet brach at the ocean and great big comfortable rooms and cabana suits viewing strait at the beach, this place is designed to give you a great relaxation and vacation experience! They have a great team and a very talented chef that cooks only from fresh ingredients that they are getting each time and the menu is subject to change but always ask for the special. This time it was shrimps and hand made chorizo on Patacon ( plátano) in a Caribbean souse. We ordered one and immediately another. Last time they had an amazing Pulpo ( octopus). Breakfast is great and decent. This is my 4th time there ( I stayed in others only when they were fully booked ) and this is the best place to stay around with a million dollar view when you wake up and a best value for money!Guest review byOrenIsrael

Definitely worth a visit. Off the beaten path, but great waves for surfing and excellent food and restaurants. If you want a break from the surf beach La Playita resort (just over the hill/down the road from town) has a protected cove with crystal clear waters and white powder sand. Lots of fun things to do without lots of driving. Venado beach is fantastic. Coucoucrazy good craft beer, great food. Local expats are friendly and share information freely. it's like turning the clock of time back...everyone waves and goes at a slower pace... if you're a light sleeper take a noise maker or ear plugs there's plenty of roosters in the town it's a small farming Village...if you need big City activities and action this is not the place for you..if you would enjoy a quiet get away with everyone friendly but minding their own business in a sleepy little town this is the place for you!Guest review byLes R.United States - 10.0
