- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 69 reviewsIt’s hard to know where to begin when describing Rohotu Fare - it really is that unique and special. Nir is a modern-day Gaudi - his vision and creativity have created something so outside the norm that it’s nearly impossible to describe it in a way that does it justice - you just have to experience it. This is not a place for tourists that like international hotel chains and are not really interested in the culture and heritage of the place they’re visiting. However, if you want to experience a living work of art, surrounded by historic artefacts, carvings and tikis collected and created over a lifetime….if you want to shower outside in privacy but with water flowing from the hands of a female statue…..if you want to stay in a luxurious bungalow in the middle of lush forest with stupendous views - then you should go and stay at Rohotu Fare. Nir is one of the nicest and most interesting people you could ever meet and he and his lovely wife have created a true paradise in what is already paradise. Don’t hesitate, just go!Guest review byAdamSwitzerland
- From US$167.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 561 reviewsI liked everything about Sunset Hill Lodge! From the friendliness of the staff (Dolores and Gérard), to the excellent condition of everything in the unit (nothing broken, damaged, no duct tape or other temporary fixes), to the comfortable bed, linens, pillows, etc. It was all really well maintained and managed. Everything was clean and tidy. The appliances were relatively new (frost-free fridge/freezer, Bosch gas stove top) and worked great. Air conditioning worked great. Big windows with screens, which I preferred using overnight instead of the AC. Both Dolores and Gérard had helpful information about nearby stores, the public beach, etc. The view was lovely, and the location was walking distance from 2 grocery stores.Guest review byJoanieCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 50 reviewsYou can't get more Robinson Crusoe feeling... it was by far one of the most special stays we have ever had. The view of Bora Bora, the solitude and the natural life. To sum it up: It was a dream and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tea, Tatiana and Joël 😃Guest review byDennisGermany

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.Guest review byDorisNew Zealand - 10.0
Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
