The staff, especially Mr James were excellent. We were first given a room above the reception that we found loud (the usual problem in the Philippines is poor front door sound insulation). Upon bringing that complaint to the staff, they went beyond our expectations to accommodate our needs. We were positively surprised and had such a great experience that we decided to extend our stay. We ordered breakfast once and it was brought to our room which was really nice. We loved the trip to Nacpan beach and enjoyed free sunbeds at their sister hotel. The hotel provides free shuttle to the city and to the airport.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - always catering to our needs. We had a delicious complementary dinner and breakfast. We were also allowed to use their scooters for free :) The villa itself needs no further explanation. Newly built, very modern, comfortable and luxurious.     It was our first stay of our 2 week holiday in the Philippines in mid-November and it exceeded our expectations. The views were so beautiful, the resort is tranquil, and the location was on an island. I'd say it is perfect for a 2-3 night stay, as it is the only resort on the island. You will have enough time to use all facilities, snorkel, and head to the spa - we had the best massages here! Our room was very spacious and had a convenient layout. It was equipped with an outdoor shower also. Make sure to ask about the sunrise hike. A guide takes you up one of the mountains an hour before sunrise, and you will have the opportunity to sit at one of the highest points and wait for the sun to rise—magical and breathtaking! Food was good, they have a decent variety of international food to suit many. Cocktails are also good. A bit on the high side, but worth the whole experience. Highly recommended.

    Everything here is really perfect and done with so much care it’s impossible to put a finger on anything. And they have really thought about all the needs of a traveller. I was in the budget room with dorm beds but it was such good value for money and still with a private terrace, Netflix tv etc. The food is delicious ( I had both breakfast, lunch, dinner while here). Views are stunning from the pool /restaurant area. There’s a free shuttle to vanilla beach and it’s really nice to be a bit away from the hectic downtown area. You do need to be a bit mobile to stay here as there are many stairs and if you don’t have a car or scooter you do need a taxi or tricycle to get into town. But if you’re looking for peace and great views it’s a perfect place.

    First I hadn’t even seen Panorama Resort because of its lower rating. I then booked despite some mixed reviews as I found it to be the most beautiful and tasteful resort. And - it was a little heaven for one week for us. I zero understand previous critics - it’s as much comfort as you can find while being on a remote island. I don’t feel it’s overpriced - you pay for the tasteful design, the reclusiveness, perfect service and many complementary services. I was sick one day and the staff immediately went downtown to get medicine for me - no extra charge asked. Loved every minute of it!

    I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice...

    I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay! Lio is another nice spot to stay. Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)

    El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.

    The nature is incredibly beautiful, just be careful with what you eat or drink. Better to buy only mineral water. And try to avoid to eat the food which is included in the island hopping for your safety.
