It may have been expensive but it was so worth the money! The airport transfer was smooth and even had treats on their private speedboat. Checking in was a bit late but we were surprised to have been met with a special birthday cake and greetings in our room! Every single staff would greet you during your entire stay. The room was superb and when we requested a pool-side room, they graciously gave us a room overlooking the pool and beach which was just amazing. The whole stay was wonderful especially with our 4 year old who swam 3 hours in the pool in the morning and 4 hours in the beach in the afternoon. The reason we booked this was because of how easy you can lay on the beach beds and order a drink or food while you get to watch your kid play by the waves as the sun sets. Just amazing. Food was very good too. I recommend their pizza restaurant after a tiring day at the beach. I have stayed in lots of other hotels in station 1 but this is the best so far. They even go out of their way to ask if you need assistance or how was your stay. You can borrow plates and utensils and reheat food you have ordered with them. Minibar supply provided is free, the only time you need to pay is when already consumed the initially provided. ( 3 cans of fruit juices, 2 cans of beer, 2 peanut kisses). Water is free althroughout. Very calm and relaxing place. Perfect for those who wanted to unwind and wanted a quiet place to stay. Food was ok. Amenties were good. There are activities that will make your stay enjoyable. NVR transfers and tour partner is great. They were welcoming and very polite during our tour. Our room has a great view of the ocean. Pool was clean. Nice beaches and i will really miss the wonderful pizza from 'Ari Italiana Cucina' at D Mall. I did not like being constantly approched and offered massages. Also, it was diffivult to browse the stalls at D Mall because the vendors all want me to buy from their stalls. I like the people of Panglao and the places. I had lived in Moalboal before. I was just back visiting a girlfriend. The Panagsama area, where the resort is located is great. Literally walked the entire area. Lots of different restaurants/bars. Siquijor is a stunning and laid-back island with a magical charm. It’s easy to get around by scooter, with well-paved roads and scenic drives through lush greenery and coastal stretches. Highlights included Cambugahay Falls, Paliton Beach, the Old Balete Tree, and the Tower Viewpoint. The locals were incredibly warm and welcoming. The island is small enough to explore in a few days but packed with natural beauty, great snorkeling, and relaxed beachside vibes. Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza being the main attraction, the outskirts are beautiful and offer lot of things to do like in Silay, where beautiful Ancestral Heritage homes still stand after more than a century, as well as, very good food trip like El Ideal for their divine crispy thin piayas, guapple pie, and more. Pahanocoy is another outskirt that’s just a 20-minute public bus ride from SM Mall to organic farm FreshStart Organic & Natural where I had exquisite culinary experience in their Lanai Restaurant, 1 of 4, in its organic grounds. The owners & staff even made the time to welcome and visit with me and share their passion of sustainable organic farm to table dining experiences!!!! There are many interesting things to see and do in the area.
There are many interesting things to see and do in the area. However, transportation is a nightmare unless you book tours with companies that provide transportation. I noted that rental cars that you can drive yourself, are difficult to find and very expensive when you do find them. It seems that taxi's are only to be found at the Airport and thou reasonable at 300 pasos for a short trip across the city, it is difficult to find a taxi on the street.
