It's pretty new hotel so you can expect clean and comfortable stay here. The room was clean and cozy, beds were comfortable. The breakfast was really good, I would say even exceptional. The hotel offers SPA and gym services.

It felt like one of the best bookings we have done so far in our years of travel, a perfect modern-looking hotel, with good amenities, and was a very good deal. Superb service. Kind and attentive. Always smiling. This place by far exceeded our expectations. Just a stunning hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. Staff are just incredible- the highest level we have ever experienced - giving their absolute best in kindness, attention and generosity in a kind and authentic way. Rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated with excellent bedding, beautiful linen, luxurious bathrooms and immaculate cleaning and attention to details. Pool is luxurious and well attended allowing for an amazing relaxing time and they even give you 2 x divine hats to lounge by the pool in style! Breakfasts were generous, super delicious, great friendly smiley service and the restaurant is out of this world, just so tasty, every single dish- and we tried them all! Super cute town, divine surrounding beaches and you can hire electric bikes to go exploring. We enjoyed our time so much and highly recommend!! . We would stay here again a heartbeat and cannot wait to return to this perfect, calm, amazing place which literally feels like heaven.

We loved the property, and the facilities were great! I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews, but we didn’t have any issues at all. The suite was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were lovely—going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The spa and wellness facilities were fab. We hired the bikes almost every day and did the yoga classes which were all fantastic and easy to organise. Breakfast was perfect for us, and we especially appreciated that it was available until 11 AM. The restaurant food was good—not extraordinary, but we had no complaints! You can tell everything is made fresh, with some ingredients sourced locally, many even grown on the property. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

The staff were unbelievable. They felt incredibly warm and genuine, and went out of their way to help us. My friend has a gluten and lactose intolerance, and they not only provided warm gluten-free bread and oat milk, but also asked if we would be staying another night so they could have it ready and waiting for us the next day. Such a lovely considerate touch. Special mention also to the lady on reception, who made us feel like family, after a long and tiring day.

    This is a beautiful town with miles of beaches.

    This is a beautiful town with miles of beaches. Too bad it doesn't have a clothing optional area. That would have been divine. The restaurants are great. Wish they were opened till 11pm especially on the weekends.

    The ocean is beautiful.

    The ocean is beautiful. Walking into town is safe and there are a number of good places to eat within walking distance. I loved the Döma and the Aloha Cafe. There were good pasteles de nata nearby. My favorite!! I also found excellent gelato.

    Sines was quiet when we visited, and I would guess it only gets small numbers of tourists. It has a lovely beach with fishing boats on one side of the bay/harbour and heading South, along the coast is industrial/oil refinery. You don't really see this from the town but I think this is why there are fewer visitors than would otherwise be expected of this town with the castle overlooking the crescent beach. A pleasant, quiet town. We ate at Merceara27 and it was great, with live music.

    Almada is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon with all the tourist activity. Easy 10 minute ferry ride to Lisbon. $3.20 euro return trip. Almada is less expensive with all the food options you could possibly want, all the while you have a chance to enjoy the fabulous people of Portugal. If you like walking, it's a great area.

    It was low season and there was not much going on.

    It was low season and there was not much going on. It appears that apart from the beach and one golf club there is not so much to be done in Troia. There were a few restaurants but not that many. Supermarket in the village was extremely, expensive

    The apartment was not in Comporta which was about 15 mins drive away. I would not recommend visiting in March as there was very little to do nearby. It is probably a lovely place to stay in the Summer months

    Convenient location for overnight stopover. We wanted to try out a fish restaurant as we picked Setubal for this reason, being a fishing port, but got hopelessly lost in the evening. The rooms are now looking tired and in need of an update.
