SerbiaStaff was very friendly and helpful; they even had a goodbye present for us. Breakfast was good with overnight oaths for example, vegetable and little packages of olive oil. Parking is very good and the bus to Sintra is just a few steps away. Very nice garden around the Hotel.

MalaysiaIt's my second time at Quinta Dos Lobos, and I confirm my 10/10 score for everything: location, facilities, service, and attention. The owners are still applying improvements, with great style and care. Rest assured on a very, very comfortable and spacious bed, like the room. Private bathroom with all the details, even a complimentary bathrobe. The wifi is good too. Special mention to the restaurant Dinner; the chef makes it with great affection. This time we arrived late, and the self-check-in system was a great implementation, too. Anyway, thank you very much. I will keep repeating.

MalaysiaThe location was fantastic but I think the best part was the front office staff. Teresa is amazing. She helped make our stay easy and fun. She recommended ways to get to the places we wanted to go to and booked the tickets for us. She also recommended fabulous and cheap restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was amazing as well. I was surprised, actually.

We were looking for peace, and we found one in there. In December, it was the perfect time to just get away and enjoy the warm days and nature.
Staff was friendly, and our room was clean and cozy. We had a balcony and an ocean view wich was amazing.

MaltaI dont know from where to start about our stay at Sintra Wow. The hosts are amazing...always so helpful. The place is beautiful and the room was really nice and fully equipped and bdw it is smart....you can switch on the lights and music with your voice :)....bed is big and very comfortable....chic bathroom with view...small cake left by the hosts...big tv...coffee machine and more. And Charlie the dog...he adds character to this place :) Everything here is just perfect. You made our holiday in Sintra much much better. Highly recommended!!!

Sintra is a magical place and the best way to view it is by...
Sintra is a magical place and the best way to view it is by walking. It is a shame that so many tuk-tuks and other ride share vehicles are allowed to park all around the already busy entrances to the historic sights. Hopefully future discussions about transportation in this UNESCO World Heritage site will solve this problem. Our group of six adults stayed for two nights at an historic Quinta and we were able to view the castle in the evening with special lighting. We were pleasantly surprised how good the weather was for our mid October visit, it was sunny and 23ºC during the day and very pleasant in the evening.Guest review byCarynCanada - 10

Good beaches and amenities within walking distance. Handy to Sintra, surrounding areas and Lisbon, particularly if you have a car, but public transport options were available too. Colares was relatively quiet compared to Sintra and it was great to escape the hustle and bustle. Terrugem is a great base if you have a car, with Cascais just 25 minutes away, Lisbon 30 minutes, and Sintra only 20 minutes. For those without a car, Bolt taxis are very affordable and easy to use. Nazaré is about 1.5 hours away, and on the way, it is well worth stopping at Óbidos, which is a beautiful historic town. A general note about Portugal: the people are very friendly and welcoming. Having been here before, I know the beauty of this place, but because of the high parking rates, not being able to reach most of the castles/palaces by car(closed roads), paying eur 13,50 per day for a bus fare, the extreme business (overcrowded) and the high prices for food and drinks, overshadowed the beauty this place had offered me in the past. This location was great. You can choose to stay in the town and enjoy the beach, restaurants, etc or venture to other nearby attractions like Praia Grande & Arribas Saltwater Pool, Azenhas do Mar pool, or take the trolly (or drive) to Sintra and other towns in the area. It is a lovely area to visit and there is a good choice of places to eat. Using the train to get there from the airport is easy and cheap.
