We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. This place was an absolute gem! Super clean and fresh-smelling rooms, beautiful surroundings – a little stream right next to the house and deer walking around like it’s nothing. Totally magical! Breakfast was amazing – all local stuff: fresh eggs, bread, ham, cheese… everything delicious and homemade. But the best part? The lovely owner! She treated us like family – so warm, kind, and caring. We honestly felt like we were staying with close relatives, not in a guesthouse. I totally recommend this place to anyone. It’s one of those rare spots you just want to come back to.

Take the time to explore the area, even on foot there is a river 5' away for a nice stroll along its bank. - Very highly recommended.
