From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam.
Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors.
Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation.
Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace.
The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay.
We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

CanadaWe had to change plans at the last minute and our request to postpone our stay by 2 days was graciously accepted. We had a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a copious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and were even offered to take leftovers with us for lunch which was greatly appreciated.

NetherlandsThe property is right beside the road infront of a supermarket and atm and has lots of parking spot( private as well as public). Host Sonja and Ziva were very helpful and welcoming. The room was big and had comfortable beds with air conditioning and fridge and coffee.The breakfast was delicious and homemade bread, cheese and jams were very refreshing.
The place has lots of wooden carvings which is quite aesthetic.

The house is in a perfect location, there's no traffic, there's almost no tourism around, no crowds, no noise. We wanted to relax and disconnect from the everydays and the pressure of the ever-flowing news and information, and we could exactly do that here - no cell phone reception, no internet, just nature, birdsong and fresh air. The apartment itself is very pretty, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that is needed for simple cooking. The views from the windows are lovely. The breakfast she prepares every morning is delicious with meat from their own farm. We also loved the cakes. There is a big garden in front of the house near the river where you can sit very nicely, there are a lot of things for kids to play with as well. The room was cute and cosy and very clean. They treated us like kings. Everything we asked (instructions for mountaineering, hiking and attractions) was explained exceptionally from them. Breakfast was delicious! An absolute must. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
