One of the best hotels I have ever seen! Clean, nicely equipped room with all what you need, even TV has hotel’s custom made application which allows direct food order from the restaurant.     2 nights is the perfect time to spend in the city. It is beautiful and i would highly recommend. Lake bled is also amazing. Can do it in a day there are so many lovely things to do it is worth making a bigger trip to the surrounding areas if possible.

    The hosts are the nicest friendliest people you'll ever meet! We honestly loved our stay. For our arrival, they left a bottle of wine and chocolates on the table which was so nice after a long day of difficult travel. We were gifted tomatoes from their garden and a delicious freshly baked (by the host) cake in the middle of our stay. When we wanted to drop by a local farm to get some cheese, the host was nice enough to call them to make sure they're open and to expect us. The place itself is lovely and clean. It's clearly been renovated recently and is well taken care of. The decor is pretty and well thought out. The town itself is surrounded by gorgeous mountains and you can see some of them from the patio. The view of the garden is lovely as well. And they also have the most adorable monkeys in their home (right below the rental) that we loved watching on our way in and out. Overall, it's a top notch place and we will absolutely be back if we return to Slovenia, which we definitely hope to do.

You can relax here, the location is not in the capital but if you want to explore everything you can stay there ... the road is connected to almost all of slovenia. the staff were courteous and friendly. they were very helpful against our needs... Thanks for all❤

    Slovenia is great.

    Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great. Just a stone's throw to the motorway and only 20min to the airport. Very convenient location

    Very nice city. All attractions are within walking distance. Train station close by for train/bus to Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge which were great day trips from Ljubljana. Castle, Caves, River Walks. Plenty of outdoor cafes and good prices. Best to go off season to avoid the crowds.

    The main cable car up the Velika Planina is just a 10 minute...

    The main cable car up the Velika Planina is just a 10 minute drive away, and the views from the top on a clear day are breathtaking, and a MUST if visiting the area... well worth ther 26 EUR round trip! Make sure you also visit Ljubljana ... one of the most beautiful small capitals in Europe . It's just 45 mins on the train from Kamnik Graben, and a much better option than driving as car parking in the City is approx. 2.50 EUR an hour. The pizzas at Pri Cesarju in Kamnik are simply the best, and if you want a great burger then '7 Burger' just outside Kamnik is a great option. If you have a car go up to Stari grad nad Kamnikom for a coffee and spectacular views, just a shame that the viewing platform remains closed and inaccessible. The Pekarna Center is a great bakery in the centre of the town, which is opposite the Veronika Cafe which serves the best coffee and cakes! If parking in the centre of Kamnik you get the first 30 mins free. Also remember that NO supermarkets open on a Sunday.

    lubljana reminded me of trieste,, almost as nice as Trieste. instead of the sea, and the harbor, there is a river and "picturesque" views from the bridge above it. That's in the main centre. Everyone can speak english Also downtown, great offer of north european style breakfast , i left just after that, but food seemed top quality especially meat ill be back, hopefully

    Well worth a visit if one is travelling about Slovenia. It has a nice old style town and within easy car distance are some great walks in the higher mountains. I suspect at busy times of the year and the school holidays in Europe Kamnik will be a busy place and booking early will pay dividends.
