Good location, just to the north of the Main Street in Kosice, but easy to walk to, about 10 minutes away. Trams stopping right outside. Reception is only staffed from 7am to 7pm, but easy to access the hotel outside of these hours, plus there is a contact number for any issues. The staff we saw were all friendly and professional. Breakfast was good and served in a nice room, lots of options, hot and cold. Good value staying here compared to some other options in the city, I am sure we will stay here again. Recommended!

As others have said, the photos don't do this place justice. We upgraded our room and had a beautiful little balcony overlooking the old town, yet the room was exceptionally quiet. The free breakfast was a bonus and was quite decent. Separate toilet room and a room with a soaker tub, and a huge room. Great value for the money!

The very nice Radka was very helpful, after our motorbike tour on our way back from Rumania we stopped in this Hotel, quiet, very modern bathroom and sleepingroom with a very good Boxspringbed, Radka prepared a beautiful breakfast for the guests.We really enjoyed our staying.     The hosts were super helpful: they know the area very well and are able to give up-to-date information and recommend places to go (or suggest modification to our plans) as well as the best way to get there (thus saving us valueable time we would have spent travelling). The place is surrounded by forest and there are no sounds of traffic, so we slept really well. Breakfast is tasty and when the weather is good, you can take it outside in the freh air and sun. The extra touch to our stay was that the hosts offered to give us a better room in another building at no extra cost since our stay coincided with a big group of people arriving on the same day as us and the original room we were supposed to be in was in the bigger building taken by the group. I mean, the room was still there and unoccupied, but the hosts decided to give us extra privacy which was very considerate.

    The room was great, had everything we needed. Great shower and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was right below us and still, it wasn't noisy or anything. At the restaurant, the food and beer were lovely, and the setout is very nice. Oh and breakfast, yum :) The staff was very helpful with everything. Highly recommend this place if you would like to wind down.

    Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Very tiny room, not big, but enough to stay for a couple of nights. Location is just incredible. The city center is really near to the hotel. Also you could reach the bus station by foot and from the bus station there is Bus No.23 to the airport.

    I come here every year for the International Peace Marathon and I think that this fact says it all - i simply like this marathon weekends, the run itself, the atmosphere around... and there is always something historical to explore when there is some free time. Or not historical, but some interesting exposition in the Slovak technical museum.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning. They are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catered stay. The host left lots of personal touches which were very much appreciated. We chose an upstairs apartment for the balcony and a better view. This was the case, however there is still a lot of building work being carried out opposite which kind of ruined it. The check-in was easy and explained well via a message. But unfortunately because this address isn’t registered on Google Maps yet, it’s a bit difficult to find. It is actually down an unmarked gravel lane. Easy once you know this, but the host didn’t mention this beforehand. The area its self is perfect for exploring the National park. We did one of our walks from the apartment it’s self. The apartment is going to be part of a holiday complex which will be very luxurious when finished. I think that it is reflected in the price currently charged (unfinished). We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

    A great small town!

    A great small town! Lots of shops and a great point to travel to Paradise park and castle in Spissky Podhradie by train... Great stay! Not hard to get around and a tourist office is a bit forward, on the left street from the stay... Nice! I recommend it!

    The entire Spissky Region is absolutely beautiful.

    The entire Spissky Region is absolutely beautiful. You can visit the large Castle ruins or explore the amazing Slovak Paradise National Park. All the villages around are also very interesting and you can see the majestic Tatra mountains nearby.

    The central section is a delight of course but a stroll through the back streets is also worthwhile for the atmosphere (who expects to find a great bell mounted on an insignificant corner) and architectural oddities. Kosice is not all that great on English ( or other western European languages) but leaving taxi drivers out of the equation you can usually find someone to answer questions. The eateries are good here but best are the smaller ones. Biggest gripe? Not getting the best directions about leaving by train to Hungary - which in Sept 2025 was actually by bus to the border.

    Hrabusice is an excellent base for hiking at the Slovensky Raj or High Tatras. It is also close to many historical sites. We loved staying at Ubytovanie at Emka. It was our second time in three years. It is a short walking distance to Restauracia u Hudaka that serves freshly cooked delicious meals at a great price.

    I loved Spisska Nova Ves.

    I loved Spisska Nova Ves. The old part of the town is very pretty and it is a short train ride to Poprod and from there to the mountains, which are beautiful. I wish I'd been able to stay here longer. And I loved the art gallery. Not big but some really interesting exhibits. Spisska is easy to walk around and the restaurants are great and not expensive. The only thing I would avoid is the person in the park trying to convert me to their religion. But that is not Spisska's fault.

    I had an exceptionally pleasant time in Košice, a beautiful city with wonderful, well-mannered and educated people, many of whom speak widely spoken foreign languages. The beer is excellent, the food is very well cooked – even the Italian dishes – and the terraces in the city centre offer both comfort and the chance to admire the architecture of the old merchants’ and noblemen’s houses. Košice has numerous museums, churches, and beautiful places to visit. I recommend the East Slovak Museum and the Aviation Museum, as well as St. Elisabeth’s Church and the museum of the former prison with the Executioner’s House. I will definitely return to Košice!

    Spisska Nova Ves a middle size town with historic center and largest oval-type square in Europe. Catholic church's tower in SNV is tallest one in middle Europe. Moreover SNV is the center of historic Spis (Sepesi, Zipser) region with museums. Near to SNV there is historic town of Levoca (10km distance) with extraordinary St. James Basilica equipped with wooden altar of high historic value. SNV is also the gate to the Slovak Paradise National Park which offers great opportunities for hikes in wonderful nature of hills and Hornad river's canyons.
