The free transfer to and back from the hotel was amazing considering the general insane prices for taxi(200 baht) saved us almost half cost of the day. Su -the driver met us at the pier with a sign of my name on it. The hotel workers especially the receptionist(Air) are very helpful and friendly. Helped us with motobikes and snorkeling trip arrangement. Everything was quick, comfortable and no issues at all. Bed size is big, room was cleaned everyday.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

We had the most amazing time at Shiva Lodge! Everyone was so kind and welcoming and we felt very much at home. Very nice people only ! 😀 Lot of international people working there and staying obviously . Perfect for scuba divers experienced or not does not matter . They will teach you all . You can even make your license there and at best price.. Cheap but very Clean rooms with AC and wonderful beach bar playing good music with happy hours from 3-6pm (GT / vodka soda for 80) BBQ’s every Friday (buffet form) 150 baht Breakfast for 150 baht+ (little more expensive than if you go out ) Sandwich lady right behind corner , best and cheapest brekkie around, and they have all kind of food as well (yellow noodles highly recommended!!) Good vibes only ! See you next time !!k

    Great stay, located walking distance to Mae Haad (via the beach / street parallel to the beach). Breakfast with a fantastic view onto the beach and the pier at the distance. The hotel has a little beach alcove that is lovely for swimming and light snorkel next to the rocks. The staff was very helpful and kind, everything was great. Our bungalow was perfectly situated near the pools and the reception which was handy. That made the walk to the breakfast very short too. The room itself was lovely and comfortable. They provided us with beach towels, beach mats, sarong and fabric bag to use during our stay at our leasure.

    Great location, on the quieter side of town but still walkable to all the great spots! The staff were so great here, we had issues with checking in very late and they were so helpful with everything and were able to help us with a free taxi transfer back to the pier as well as with hiring a scooter and sorting laundry. Also has a beautiful pool area overlooking the beach. Just wish we’d spent more time here!

    Beautiful gardens with a four clear blue swimming pools. Spacious rooms. We stayed in a Hilltop Bungelow. Very helpful staff. A golf cart will take you up the steep road to your unit. Well organised dive shop. 5 dive options per day. Very close to the busy beachfront street with lots of options for good food and massages

    It is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and very good value for money. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are huge and the location is perfect at the centre of Koh Tao and only a 5min walk from the pier. I recommend the massage in the resort! Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Koh Tao

    Fabulous room, it was unbelievably nice! We had our own chalet, so this was really private and quiet. The bed was just a dream, so comfy! The view from the room/terrace was so beautiful! I don't understand that this hotel doesn't have a score of 9+. Definitely recommend it!!

    Fantastic location.

    Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.

    We loved Koh Tao.

    We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Garden...go hungry!! All In all a beautiful island and great for families as not too crazy busy!
