The resort has a crew of very nice people. They picked us up at the pier, helped with our luggage, gave us water and refreshing wipes to cool off and provided very useful information upon checkin. The rooms were made up daily, we got water, tea/coffee, there are options for food nearby, a shop, you even have delivery menus in room so you can easily choose and order to your room directly. The room was nice, clean, spacious, with nice view of their beautiful gardens.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mar Ozo Hotel. The girls at reception were so nice, kind, and extremely helpful, which made check-in a very pleasant experience. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with a really nice bathroom and very comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there was always hot water available. I also appreciated the little details like water in the fridge and being well taken care of while waiting for the room to be ready. Overall, an excellent stay – highly recommended!

Everything about shiva lodge is incredible, its a newly opened accommodation. The houses are incredible, everything is perfect. From waking up to birds chirping and having a coffee on ur balcony. The area (garden) is well mantained. Although they dont serve breakfast they give fresh coffee/water and bananas every morning. They even decorated the bedroom for my boyfriends birthday, even gave a breakfast voucher as a gift. The staff is amazing! Nothing was too much. They can also provide laundry service / scooter rental. Also they can pick up up from the pier for free

Perfect little short stay with excellent wifi, great location and really awesome manager who helped us with taxis etc. a great place to stay and work as there is a communal co-working space. Yoga studio upstairs and cafe downstairs with great smoothies and coffees.

    We just could not believe our luck (or good vibes!) in selecting Tarna for our 10 days in Koh Tao ! It was just great. The sea view villa is lovely, spacious, with great view, good internet (must re-log in multiple times, but very fast). Some guest commented in their reviews about the steep hill/access to villa -> obviously good to know if you happen to have bad knees (or a baby), but we did not find it a problem (even though we're "older" than most tourists in Koh Tao) and always walked up/down the hill (although golf cart transport was offered whenever you want it). Room service is everyday. Service in case of small problem (such as lamp does not work) was really fast. The resort can drive you to rent a scooter and provides parking. Scooter is almost a must like almost everywhere in Koh Tao. The dive swimming pool is big enough for proper swimming. Location is great, it takes 5 min to the restaurants and busy strip on the sea front, and 10 min to the harbor (all by scooter) but you are remote enough in the evening to have the tropical forest sounds and the stars over the sea. Breakfast is good, even though slightly uneven in quality, according to what you prefer. However, the BROWNIE is the best in Koh Tao. Also, if you go on early dive, the kitchen prepares a lovely packed breakfast for you if you needed at 6am. Most of all, the staff is really kind, attentive (they remember your coffee preference, your room number etc) and helpful. We won't be looking for another place when we go back to Koh Tao.

    I really love this resort our room was a superior in traditional Thai style. The bed was so comfortable. Large balcony with table and chairs. The shower was awesome very fast and as hot as you need it. The room was very large with plenty of space. Kettle fridge and satellite TV with English movie channels. Free breakfast which was not bad at all. The resort is on the beach. The swimming pools of which there are 3 are great. 1 for children, one smallish round pool that looks to be deep I think for dive training as they also have a dive school. And the main pool which was large and also a jacuzzi pool. The gardens smell amazing with the aroma of the trees and flowers. You get 4 large towel's and 2 small in the room as well as a hairdryer, shampoo conditioner and more. The restaurant serves very nice western and Thai food and fabulous cocktails as well as the usual drinks and is overlooking the sea. The resort provides tickets for the ferry local trips they even arrange flights and more. Great location to get everywhere. They rent motorbikes that are brand new with good tyres etc for 250 baht per day and I would highly recommend using them. You definitely need a good bike for this island and also you have the security of knowing they won't try to say there are scratches etc and try to get money out of you. For the price this is definitely a place I will return too. A huge thanks to all the staff for making my boyfriends birthday very special.

    Our Makam Beach villa was ideal for our family to stay together. But also it was right on the beach and super close to the pool and restaurant. We loved the day beds on the beach. The proximity of the hotel to the festive town area was ideal - close enough to easily walk but far enough away to not hear any loud music. The staff were great, especially at the restaurant and we were treated to a private dinner at the view point one evening. In all the stay Cabana made our trip to Koh Toa. Great family place to stay

    We stayed in a double room and we liked the area, the beach was very close and there was a walking street at the hotel with several bars, shops, restaurants, massage etc. Nevertheless, it was quiet in our room because the resort is very big. There are also several pools and if you want to dive, this is a great place!

    Fantastic location.

    Fantastic location. I wish they could do little more on the breakfast . The room is ok. I don't like when you have to take shoe off when you go in the lounge or the restaurant. The lounge need to updated. Staff resting on rhe sofa too which is weird.

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...

    Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.

    We loved Koh Tao.

    We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. Highly recommend breakfast at Mango Garden...go hungry!! All In all a beautiful island and great for families as not too crazy busy!
