We chose this hotel to have some peaceful time by the beach as part of a family holiday taking our kids to a couple of classic locations: Bangkok, Ayuttaya and Chiangmai. We were really struck both by the beautiful, isolated location (about 15' drive from Kha Nom itself) and by the hotel itself: lovely, small (only 21 rooms) and with very few other tourists nearby which made for a great break from the bigger cities we had visited until then but with a huge pool that is the 'centrepiece' that we spent plenty of time in. Above all the staff were wonderful: we were able to set up a trip to see the 'famous' pink dolphins with them but they also suggested a trip to the local market and were happy to arrange transport to and from the airport at Surit Thani (which is over 100km away). The food is also good and they were more than happy to dial the spice down despite having quite a few Thai clients.

This hotel has a great, homey atmosphere and offers good value for money. The rooms are spacious and the beds, pillows and blankets are very comfortable. The bathroom has strong water pressure. Breakfast is great, and the hotel’s cafe serves excellent coffee and tasty pastries, especially the soft cake (call ahead if you want to take some home). There is enough parking, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The housekeeping team keeps the rooms clean and smelling fresh. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to restaurants and easy to get around from here. I highly recommend this cozy hotel for anyone visiting Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The hotel is very modern, and well taken care of. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast was Thai style, but the staff asked if we wanted some toast and jam. I found this to be a very nice gesture. All the food served was very tasty. All in all a very pleasant hotel with great staff. Will be going again in june.

    Very high-quality, beautifully designed and parctical hotel. Is in a really good location. Look and smells great on arrival with a welcome drink. My seaview room had the most amazing views, room was comfortable and clean, with a good working air conditioner. Love the pool area and breakfast was deliciours. Nice view.     The breakfast was amazing. The lady boss served us drip coffee with toast/ eggs and homemade jam. We could even taste the real fruits in the jam. Having breakfast in the outdoor setting was amazing and we really feel connected with nature. The pool was clean and definitely a lifesaver in the crazy Thailand heat. Fresh water and coffee were readily available 24/7 within the resort. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Hallo Villa.

    An extremely affordable place to stay and literally right on the beachfront. The beach is quiet and beautiful. The owner is also lovely and hands on, she helped with pick ups and going for dinner in the small town area. Also, their food was the BEST food I have had in Thailand. Will be back for sure.

    Great resort, and great service! We had to change our stay from 3 nights for 2 nights and the hotel offered us voucher for the spa to compensate the night (booking was not refundable) very nice of them. The spa was amazing and really relaxing! A great resort!

    It was our second visit, we came to spend time with our daughter who resides at the university in Nakhon Si Thammarat. On our first visit we explored everything worth seeing so this visit there was very little else to see

    Beautiful area.

    Beautiful area. Need transport to get around as places are far apart. Not suitable for walking. Very easy to rent a scooter. Khanom is more suitable for tourists than Sichon beach which is very small. Sichon town is great. More restaurants and cafes in Khanon Beach area than Sichon Beach area

    It is not near happenings and town, but need to walk a distance. The hotel is rigid for not allowing guests to change from double to twin bed as it sticks to the booking record. The room has no space to add extra bed. We are 70+ old and all double beds are upper floor. we need to claim a flight of stairs, the hotel has no lift. The pool is small and look clean. Breakfast is simple and not much variety. Reception and cafeteria staff are friendly and patient. They cannot converse in English.

    10/10 – A hidden gem by the beach, perfect for families and total relaxation! We had an incredible stay at Reboot Retreat Beach Resort and honestly didn’t want to leave. The rooms are lovely — very minimalistic but in the best way possible. Clean lines, clutter-free, and designed with comfort in mind. The beds were extremely comfortable, the air-con ice cold, and the smart TV was huge, perfect for winding down in the evenings. But the real magic is in the land itself — the resort sits on a massive, beautifully landscaped plot. There’s a volleyball court right in the middle of the garden, and my family and I spent most evenings out there playing, laughing, and making memories. The staff even brought us a ball without us having to ask — they were genuinely helpful and kind the whole stay. Waking up to nothing but birdsong was something special, and sitting by the infinity pool, all you can hear is the sound of the ocean waves gently rolling in. It’s such a peaceful, grounding environment — exactly what we needed. Can’t wait to come back — Reboot is one of those places that just gets it right.

    Highlight were the temple at Pra mahattat Kopi restaurant...

    Highlight were the temple at Pra mahattat Kopi restaurant and a day trip to Khiriwong village. The town is much bigger than appears on the map and it’s really sprawling. It would be impossible to explore on foot and too dangerous to tour on a bike (the driving is pretty scary as there are two long wide straight roads and cars absolutely tank along taking little account of pedestrians). The food here is sensational. Really different to the more familiar Isan cuisine. Lots of herbs and leaves and VERT hot. Rim Ley restaurant in Tha Sala served up some of the finest seafood I’ve ever had. Everything is in Thai but there are pictures to point at. The scenery in the hills nearby is stunning. It’s well worth a long weekend.

    Khanom is very quiet.

    Khanom is very quiet. Suitable only for people that don t want nightlife. Very few independent restaurants to eat in khanom apart from their resort. It s not a beach resort per se such as Koh samui or any other island. It s a laid back spread out beach with a few hotels along it with nothing much else.

    We stopped here on our return journey home to Bangkok airport. The nicest coastal road for driving for scenery between khanom and sichon. Pick a hotel around the south of the bay for less rubbish on the beach. Having an elevated view is lovely for dining experience. The beaches could be lovely but sadly all the beaches had too much rubbish and plastic. I’ve never seen it so bad in Thailand. That’s probably why it isn’t really touristy here. It’s the quietest place we visited.
