The area is beautiful and it’s very easy to go there with their shuttle service from Koh Samui. We tried their spa on our first day. Had the sports massage and it was perfect to loosing up tension after a long trip and to get relaxed for the stay. After the massage we enjoyed some tea in the beautiful surroundings with the stunning view. We also tried their cooking class and their chef was really good at explaining all the details about the food and giving us great tips. Really loved it! Can highly recommended you try it if you want to know more about Thai cuisine. The gym is really good and big for a hotel gym. Has great equipment and a beautiful view inside the jungle. The hotel is near a beach with lovely restaurants and shops which was perfect if you wanted to see something else during the day. The island itself has many opportunities to explore so this hotel was absolutely perfect to come back to after day trips. This hotel would be the ideal honeymoon hotel or a spa getaway. There are shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. Hotel was great, staff was helpful with information and also helped us with our baggage. Room was big enough for us, AC was working, there was also a fridge in the room. There is also a pool which we only used once. We walked to Leela Beach (totally recommend!) and Sunset Beach. We arrived from Koh Samui to Haad Rin Pier and walked easily to the hotel. I love it here . Has everything and anything. For me I like the beach , the restaurants, the markets and am happy to do that all day at one of the beach front bungalows. But there is plenty of night life if you want it . A lively place, lovely locals, easy to go other places on the island with taxis . The beach is beautiful. Warm water . Food and drinks along the beach .lots to see and do in the town. So many restaurants to choose from . Capybara cafe is so funny had a great time there . Love Silver Beach, garden was glorious at Promsuk Suri, but staff rather miserable, no customer care. Couldn’t even offer us a clean towel when changing prior to our flight we had to use a wet sandy towel from the beach!! Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. We were planning on 2 nights but changed plans and left after 1 as there is nothing to do on the town but look at shops. One temple to visit if wanted. Wish we hadn’t stayed the one night! Ok for a transfer through to the islands but nothing more in our opinion. I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.
