I had a wonderful stay at Suite Trois Archers in Kairouan. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Medina and within walking distance of all the main monuments. The suite is very clean and beautifully kept. There is also a rooftop terrace with an amazing view over the Medina, which made my stay even more special. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, making me feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kairouan

Great location, convenience store nearby. Right next to the Grand Mosque. Great view from the terrace. Host was always available by phone or WhatsApp. When we arrived there was no kettle, when we asked the host, he immediately ordered one and brought us the kettle as well as a coffee maker. Very responsive.

    Kairouan is fabulous.

    Kairouan is fabulous. I walked out at night as a solo woman and experienced nothing worse than courteous and curious looks. I ate in a local restaurant in the Medina and walked safely through vibrant streets back to the hotel. Kairouan has a buzz about it, its historic places are impressive and beautiful. Its people are hospitable and helpful. I preferred the souks of Kairouan to all the others I visited in Tunisia - Sidi Bou Said, Tunis, Sousse. There was less pressure and more interest and kindness - although I found all Tunisians to be kind. I walked everywhere, although the city is quite large. I did not see everything by any means - the Great Mosque is a huge highlight of this stay. Breathtaking. We went on to visit El Jem, an hour's drive away.
