It’s a big city. 16 million people without the mass of tourists. The sameness of food and shops was quite surprising. A lack of creativity? Hundreds of the same spice shops, same food offerings, same clothes, etc. I enjoyed the walks across the main bridge and talking to the fishermen (no women) in broken English and using the AI language. The antiquities. Amazing. I am a bit of a life style goose walker and thought the mosques were wonderful but not worth $90 each etc. walk the city. Travel the water.
