- From US$190.72 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,102 reviewsMyself and my friend did not have breakfast during our stay. I did love this hotel though, the location was perfect, the free parking was welcome. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. What I enjoyed the most was the hotel felt quirky in a good way, the room was old fashioned but I loved that and we both enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony. I would have no problem recommending this hotel and if I’m lucky enough to come back to Gatlinburg I would not hesitate to stay here again.Guest review byJoanneUnited Kingdom

Asheville is filled with great artwork and plenty of wonderful places to shop and purchase art. It is also a foodie town and plenty of choices to fit anyone's taste. The history of Asheville is so interesting with the Biltmore tour, a must see. For nature lovers, a beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway with lunch or dinner at the top of the mountain at the Pisgah Inn,(need reservations) hikers, trails everywhere for all skill levels. Water lovers, rafting, paddling and boating on mountain lakes. And if you are a Beer lover then this is the town for you. Asheville is a jewel and wonderful place to have fun, relax and enjoy good food , drink and Mother Nature.Guest review byWittUnited States - 2.0

The hotel was run down, and they provide a pool table and boom box for customers to use until midnight. So picture around 10 people drunk playing pool and blasting music until midnight and the hotel is fine with this. No sleep until after midnight, our room was like a rock concert. Do not stay here.Guest review byCurtisUnited States - 10

Cherokee is a must visit for any reason, the scenery is absolutely stunning and was surprisingly less packed than what I had figured with the time of year. The outdoor drama Unto These Hills is worth going, it was absolutely beautiful and would go back to see it again. The Branded Cattle Steakhouse and Native Brews Tap & Grill were both on hour long waits, and both menus looked great, but we were too hungry and opted for Burger King. I was with my best friend and family but would be just as great to have spent with a partner. Happy TravelingGuest review byHeatherUnited States - 6.0
Roanoke, VA has NO CABS.
Roanoke, VA has NO CABS. You must get an Uber or Lift if you do not want to drive to a dinner destination. The hotel did not inform us that there would be a parade on Saturday, and many streets were closed as a result. So driving around wasn't easy.Guest review byPalfreyUnited States - 8.0

I really liked it, but I would need to visit again to really look around and visit the sites. I only traveled there to go to Buc-Ees. Didn't know that it was game day for the University, so next year, I may make it an entire weekend to visit the sites and get a ticket to the game.Guest review byYolandraUnited States - 10

Winchester is a lovely town, full of history and charm. Allow plenty of time for just walking around, to say nothing of the great shops in the historic district. Two restaurants are not to be missed: Violini and Antica Trattoria!Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10
Great little town with a variety of restaurants.
Great little town with a variety of restaurants. Didn't like having to pay to park anywhere near the shops and restaurants on King Street. The Peddler steakhouse was delicious and traffic was very light all weekend. The foggy mountain gem mine was fun sifting through the soil to find gems. Found some really cool stuff and the staff actually takes time to sort through your entire bag to explain what you found. The wife is having them cut & polish a rose quartz we found and is having it set in a ring for less than $90.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 4.0

Horrific traffic, row after row of places to stay, many of which were rundown. Ticky-tacky area of town. A total disappointment. After 7 hours driving to get there, I was ready to leave upon arrival! Only salvation was the Cafe Italiano restaurant across the street. Good food and great prices!Guest review byDeniseUnited States - 10

My daughter flew to Pittsburgh and our trip began with a two day stop in Lancaster before heading to Hagerstown. She was so delighted at how beautiful and well organized the visitors center was and how well staff it was with such knowledgeable individuals who are incredibly invested in their jobs as they share fascinating yet horrific stories of the loss of so many lives as mostly men fought to make the changes needed for this country to become the start of the nation that we know today. Actually seeing graves and fields so vividly described as they were transformed into mass murder scenes. We all left the area sad, yet so thankful to all of the men who fought and died for all of us. The area around the battlefields and memorials is easy to walk and full of interesting shops and beautiful scenery.Guest review byJosephUnited States
