This was such an amazing stay! Literally everything was perfect. The owners were super nice. Cynthia (I hope I got the name right) even stayed with me while I got my bags from the car to ask if she could help and make sure that I‘m alright (we arrived quite late in the evening). The Inn and the rooms have a beautiful ambiance. It’s easy to say that this Inn has been one of my favorite and prettiest stays ever. I highly recommend staying here!

This place is just amazing, not only the house but overall place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative. This is a ranch with animals that kids (and adults) can visit and pet. Owners were so kind that they introduced us to baby goats, explained how to behave around them, and let us go into the fenced area. At the reception area, they have an engaging souvenir store and breakfast area where everyone can find something for themself (super happy for gluten-free options). Everywhere can be sensed amazing feeling for interior and landscape design - everything is done with perfection and attention to detail. We all loved the pool area - they have several saunas, a unique outdoor pool with (heated/cooled) resting pavilions, a jacuzzi, a grill with tables, and a fire pit area. It was made very thoughtful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The breakfast was very good. They offered a wide variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The location was perfect. Less than 10 miles from the visitor center of Capital Reef Park made the location perfect for going back to the park for a night program or any other reason to explore the park and sites. Also the front desk attendant made me feel very welcomed the moment I arrived for check in.

It was a wonderful hotel. 5 minutes drive to Capitol Reef National park. The personal was friendly and helpful. The place itself is amazing. We enjoyed the bonfire at the evenings, the breakfasts were good, and there are several very good restaurants around. Our kids enjoyed the horse riding at the area of the hotel, the pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended place to stay if you travel to Capitol Reef

We did not look at all our room choices, so we didn't get the view, or balcony, etc. But, it was all there to make a GREAT vacation. Wonderful S'mores campfires for the different zones. Great restaurant. Wish WE had looked carefully at room choices as this was a super place to stay, with restaurant. Loved watching the Alpacas/Llamas go out trekking with guests. The beautiful surroundings. Easy access to town and Park!

Bicknell is a small town about 10 miles outside of Capitol Reef National Park where you can find hotel rooms that are less expensive and family restaurants. Bicknell is a bed-room community for the National Parks, not really a destination of it's own.

We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone looking at hotels between the Arches and Canyonland should definitely pick this one. You will not be disappointed!

If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hell's Backbone Grill was worth the splurge - delicious food and they even made us a special request cocktail that tasted better than the typical one you would get somewhere else.

Hanksville has lots of wonderful outdoor activities in and around the town, particularly Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park. If you aren't outdoorsy or active, there might not be much to do for you. The town itself is quite small, and not everything is open in the winter. It is cute and has character, but is not exactly exciting.

The area is beautiful, but if it rains, you can't do much since all the hikes and roads will be muddy and the roads not passible in some areas. Torrey itself is lovey, small but very nice and a good amount of hotels and restaurants.

A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable! Cute little town with lots to do.

Breakfast was minimal. Granola bar and oatmeal which you had to ask for. No soap in the shower or extra toilet paper. They are definitely operating on a budget. No place to eat out in this town. Be prepared.
