AustriaThis was such an amazing stay! Literally everything was perfect. The owners were super nice. Cynthia (I hope I got the name right) even stayed with me while I got my bags from the car to ask if she could help and make sure that I‘m alright (we arrived quite late in the evening). The Inn and the rooms have a beautiful ambiance. It’s easy to say that this Inn has been one of my favorite and prettiest stays ever. I highly recommend staying here!

SloveniaThis place is just amazing, not only the house but overall place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and communicative. This is a ranch with animals that kids (and adults) can visit and pet. Owners were so kind that they introduced us to baby goats, explained how to behave around them, and let us go into the fenced area. At the reception area, they have an engaging souvenir store and breakfast area where everyone can find something for themself (super happy for gluten-free options). Everywhere can be sensed amazing feeling for interior and landscape design - everything is done with perfection and attention to detail. We all loved the pool area - they have several saunas, a unique outdoor pool with (heated/cooled) resting pavilions, a jacuzzi, a grill with tables, and a fire pit area. It was made very thoughtful.
I wish we could have stayed longer.

United StatesThe breakfast was very good. They offered a wide variety of breakfast foods and drinks. The location was perfect. Less than 10 miles from the visitor center of Capital Reef Park made the location perfect for going back to the park for a night program or any other reason to explore the park and sites.
Also the front desk attendant made me feel very welcomed the moment I arrived for check in.

We did not look at all our room choices, so we didn't get the view, or balcony, etc. But, it was all there to make a GREAT vacation. Wonderful S'mores campfires for the different zones. Great restaurant. Wish WE had looked carefully at room choices as this was a super place to stay, with restaurant. Loved watching the Alpacas/Llamas go out trekking with guests. We enjoyed our time at Cowboy Country Inn because management was well organized and super efficient. The wifi and Direct TV were exceptional. Escalante has a Catholic church with a Sunday 5 pm Mass. We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. If you like to explore the desert, there are plenty of places to go off the beaten path. If you're not comfortable with that, there's a lot of beauty close to the road too. Hanksville has lots of wonderful outdoor activities in and around the town, particularly Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley State Park. If you aren't outdoorsy or active, there might not be much to do for you. The town itself is quite small, and not everything is open in the winter. A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable!
